November room discount PIN in Mail!

Got a PIN for November either Friday or Sat in mail!

Here are the specifics:

30% off at select resorts for stays most Sunday-Thursday nights 11/1/11-11/18/11 and 11/26/11-11/30/11. $67 values, $119 moderates, and$196 Animal Kingdom or Wilderness Lodge.

Book by 6/9/11.

Not what I was hoping for, we are going 11/29-12/4, so I would only get a 2 night room discount....but maybe it is a good sign for some of you out there! Good luck!

I got it in the mail and it said "Thank you for your interest in a Walt Disney World Resort visit". So, since it is for the time I am going, I assume it is because I saved a quote on my WDW account on their website.
OH! I just read the small print! It says "Ask about other dates"......calling WDW today!

I have gotten 3 pins this year that I could not use. I waited, and waited and finally booked 11/7 - 11/13, so I could get my adr and so forth, what are the odds of me getting the pin that includes my dates now that I am already booked.

that's too bad! I guess it's been awhile since I booked room only. We mostly book pkgs or rent points from DVC owners.

You will get the discount for your entire stay! November 30th would be the last check-in date. So as long as you check-in by November 30th you will get this discount for all your nights.

If this were a free dining promo then yes, you would get the benefit for your entire stay, but when dealing with a room discount, it only applies to the dates covered in the promotion.

Really well that's a bummer! It's been awhile since I've booked using room only. I guess I've booked mostly packages or have rented points.

I got the same dates but with only a 10% PIN code

We would book the 30% or more esp free dining, though. Not 10%.

Just talked with Disney, the PIN I got is good for most of November and December, and only applies for Sunday-Thursday, it can not be applied to weekends

I received that one a month or so ago via email. Of course, we're going 11/18 - 11/27. Does me no good. I hate free dining pins, because in general they cost us more money, but if that is the only discount I can get, I might have to take it. At least with free dining you only have to check-in by that date. I miss the days when that also applied to room only reservations.
