We don't have to do the twist, right? I can't find anything made in NY that fits. Well, I did find a jar of jelly yesterday, but it cost $10 so I don't think I'll send that.

And I thought I'd have my questions done by now, but being a mommy & a daddy last week took up a lot of my time!

Hi Missy, no the twist is not required. It is a choice. And there are two twists for this month. The first is the jam or jelly from your area, and the second is a spice mix of some sort from your area. It doesn't have to be from your town, but your state/country. So if you would like to go the second route, that would be more cost efficent.

I can't find a spice mix at all. So I guess I won't be doing the twist this month.

Thank you Erin for the pecans. You are so creative in thinking of this twist. At first, I thought that something might be broken in the box with the sound of things, but then I was presently surprised.
