November park hours have been updated

D you all think there is a chance they could change the morning hours now? I have a pre opening and a 10:30 ADt at BOG

I think it's always a possibility even to the week before but someone else may disagree with me! lol.....I often see them change the p.m. hours but I'm not sure about the a.m. ones. Just keep both until the last minute?

We were so thrilled to get passes for the end of our MK day 1/2 an hour ago! Now we can watch Wishes and head over there rather than being rushed out of the park when it was closing at 10 for EMH. I can't believe there were still some available now. I didn't even think to look for them earlier as I was focused on trying for an early safari on our AK day. We have 9:15, but it now opens at 8, so we were hoping to get earlier. Either they didn't release them or they were snapped up quick. Was looking from first thing this morning.
Very happy camper! They must not have had the AK FPs updated yesterday for the new hours. Just checked for the heck of it and there were several Safari FPs near 8am on the 14th.

So if anyone was looking for early AK FPs for the new early open its worth checking now.

I am not an expert by any account but I have been waiting for the hours to be updated and they seem in line with the hours during previous years, so I'm thinking it's not indicative of them anticipating huge crowds but just a normal change. I was really hopeful that hours would be extended even more the week I am there (11/15-11/20) but alas only one long day at MK.

This happened in October for the past two years, also. I'm glad to have the extra park time, but it's annoying. We "lock in" our plans 180 days in advance, 60 days in advance, 30 days in advance. Then Disney changes the hours just weeks in advance. Maybe I'd have made different plans if I'd known the actual park hours for the days of my trip.

But I'm pretty sure they change around the hours once we all commit to going. So if they realize that attendance is up they'll add a few hours. It would be nice though if they just used historical data to pick hours and stick with them. Although I've heard they even extend hours day of.

All my work to get BOG ressies before the Park opens have gone down the drain. So sad =(

Have you tried rebooking? I suspect the change in opening hours may have added some earlier times to the ADR?

Yeah, I was even able to score a Wishes FP on a different night than we originally had and now the Wishes FP time has changed to 8:35-8:55 which REALLY confuses me!

What did the time say before? Mine says 8:40-8:55 -- is that what yours was before and it changed to 8:35?

And now with DDS shut down, I can't even feel great about my chances of fixing them. MDE is blocked at work, so that prevents me from looking for 8 hours a day.

Josh always anticipates the extended hours on easywdw.com so we plan from that. It's justnlike a summer week, don't worry about crowds, it will be busy but fine. Mk during parade and fireworks and after is mostly walk-ons.

How early can you get into MK with an early breakfast reservation? Our pre-opening CP breakfast at 8:15 now has an 8 am park opening! If we arrive at 7:30, will we be let in that early???

Thanks to this thread, I increased how much I watch the FP page, and was able to score a SDMT for the Tuesday we are at the Magic Kingdom! :yay: 9:25-10:25AM. Now I need to make a plan for which ride to tackle right at 9:00! AND which breakfast reservation I should keep (Crystal Palace at 9:50, or BOG at 8:30). Too many decisions!
