 Hi everyone....

We just got back from Disney the 15th...and we are already missing it soooo much! We are planning our next trip (we have annual passes, so want to make the most of them). I was wondering when it is more quiet...in November or December...and when exactly (I heard the first week of November is quiet). Basically we like it when the crowds are really low and the weather is not unbearably hot...so I am seeking advice from the experts - Disers! :cheer2:

If you want to avoid crowds, I would go one of the first 2 weeks in December. November is starting to get more crowded b/c of the Food & Wine Fest and Jersey week. The beginning of December is great and all the decos are up already.

We went Veteran's Day week in 2003 and it was a great trip! The crowds were nonexistent and the weather was picture perfect. One thing to consider though is that the hours were much shorter, even the MK was closed by 7 every night.

We also just came back from our December 04 trip. We were there the week before Christmas. The decorations and Christmas events were amazing and I didn't find the crowds too bad. The parks were also open very late. Most of our days there, however, it was freezing!

I guess every time of year has its advantages, my best advice would go as soon as possible! :D (Can you tell I'm right there with you, can't wait to go back!!)

Hi there!
When is the food and wine festival? And when is Jersey week? We were planning on going around the 28th until round the 3rd. Is that a good time?

Thanks!

Food and Wine dates: September 30 - November 13, 2005, i guess JW will be at second week of November.

If you go after Thanksgiving - you can see the Parks decorated for the holidays (which is why we are going 12/6-12/11)! The only downfall is that it will be chilly - but it will still be much warmed than MA!

We're planning a trip to WDW 11/29-12/06. It's our favorite time of the year to go. No big crowds and it's value season for the resorts. Plus you get to enjoy the Christmas extras. As for weather, we've had both extremes. One year was winter coats and another was shorts and tanktops. One year we had both in the same week! So plan for either extreme.

Jersey Week this year will be from Nov.6th to Nov.12th. Our kids are off from school on Nov. 8th, 10th and 11th. We'll be there... :wave2:
