We are going to WDW the full week after Thanksgiving.

Does anyone know what the weather is like in Orlando then? Will we be able to swim?

I was thinking as far as clothes I was thinking for dd and I capri's and maybe shorts w/ sweatshirts for evening. For ds I was thinking light weight pants or shorts. Dh will probally wear short because he is hot nature. Do you all think that will work?

TIA

that time of year is unpredictable

when we went, we brought a few shorts, a few capris & some jeans & sweatshirts

the days ranged from 70-80s & the nights got cold, like about 50 or lower

you can go swimming, but when you get out of those heated pools BOY can it be cold!!!

watch the weather the week of your trip & plan by that as a guide

GL!!

Bring your winter coats... truly... many days will be shorts/short sleeve with just a hoodie, that you ditch by 11am.... but once the sun goes down, it can get bitter cold. Every single evenign we needed to change to sweatpants or jeans. We are from Pittsburgh adn used to the cold... but even with winter coats we have had a few nights that i even had to buy blankets for the kids. We have swam..like I said, it really can vary from day to day.

I have to agree with the PPs- you need to be prepared for anything! When we've gone in November, December, January, and February, every year has been different. This past February was freezing and we were in long pants and jackets every day, but last year we wore shorts the whole time...the same thing has happened when we've gone in December, and we usually go the first or second week.

I have been in December when it was 80 deg and we were in shorts and swimming.I have also been there when it was 40 deg and we were in coats and gloves.

I just wanted to add that we're going that same week! :cool1:

I'm planning to take clothes that layer well. My DDs usually want to wear dresses/skirts, so I'll take leggings and long-sleeve shirts to put under for cool mornings and evenings. I'm sure I'll overpack as usual.:)

:thumbsup2 I'll keep an eye out for ya

We will be there then too! We are going Nov. 21 thru Dec 5.

I will be packing jeans/sweatshirts and coats. Probably not winter coats, but fall jacket type coats. We always go the same time of year. Some years we wear shorts the whole time, and other years we wear jeans. Usually its a combination. I have had to buy the kids a blanket before too. It makes it difficult with all the new luggage restrictions on airlines. :headache:

We will also be there the same week - 11/28 - 12/6. I plan to take a little bit of everything. My dd and her bf went this same week in 2007 and it was warm the entire week, but this past year I hear it was quite chilly.

Don't worry, I'm sure we can handle bringing a blanket home in our car for you:cool1: Just don't buy an oversized stuffed animal or something huge:rolleyes1

I hope we have some great weather!!!:goodvibes
