Anybody get any good deals for November?, Whole family going from 11/9-11/17. I am only looking for two nights 11/9 and 11/16. The rest of the time we will be at our DVC home of BWV in a two bdroom.

Hi Scott-

There's nothing out yet as far as codes or Ap's. I think most people are holding there breathe at this point waiting for some good deals!

Good luck!

So far all they have is the AAA discount......Got the Yacht Club for $272.61/night, including tax. I was told to call back after the new codes and AP rates come out and they would change it. I needed to book it though because the YC fills up really fast that time of year with Super Soap Weekend. Hopefully I will get a postcard like last year for $169/night.....:(

Can someone tell me, is there a DC discount for AAA membership? I thought I remembered someone posting about it, but now I can't find it. Also, with a AAA discount, is it possible for my WDW reservation to be in my name & the AAA account to be in DH's name. He is the one who travels all the time & could benefit more from AAA. Thanks alot. Sandy

I just became a DC member. The membership kit says the following:

DC members pay no enrollment fee to join AAA and save $10 off the first year AAA membership dues. This offer only applies to new basic primary membership. Offer expires 12/31/02.

I don't know if this will help...

We went last November--I first booked in August with a AAA rate at Beach Club for around $279/night and then changed it when a better rate came out (about 1 month later).

We ended up paying $169/night plus tax for "water-view". We also stayed at AKL for the same price per night for a savannah view. Our dates in November were 11/17-11/24 (this was the week leading into Thanksgiving week including Thanksgiving weekend)

Just keep watching the boards and check www.mousesavers.com on a regular basis!
Hope you get a good rate!

We are booked for the week after Thanksgiving and found the AAA discount and the Disney Club discount to be about the same. The cancellation and payment policy for AAA was better than DC so we booked with that one. The AAA discount is good if anyone in your party has an AAA card, I think. However, I've not yet been asked to show my AAA card or DC card when I checked in. We are anxiously awaiting, like others, for codes and AP rates to come out.

Patience, patience!

As goofyfordisney pointed out, last year the really good rates didn't come out until September. While they may not be quite as good this year, the late summer rates currently available give hope that the Nov-Dec rates will be within 5% of last year's bargains.

While you could make reservations now "just to be sure" and change them later when better rates become available, that's probably a waste of time. I am pretty sure that no resort sells out during Value Season (possibly excepting ASMo); that's why rates are so much lower then! So unless you have very specific requirements, there should be no harm in waiting. And it certainly makes no sense to make reservations at a rate you're not willing to pay.

If you're going during Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays, all bets are off. But even then we'll probably see better rates become available.
