Hi guys
We have done this time frame twice now and spent two Thanksgivings in Florida. Neither time do I remember crowd levels being too bad. The run up to the day itself did see more people at the parks (the Friday & Saturday after TGD on the Thursday were the busiest times), but to be honest, the lines for rides were still only around 40 mins at worst. We did Sea World on one occasion actually on Thanksgiving day and the park was full of Brits! The Americans make a big thing about the Thanksgiving day meal and were all off scoffing lunch whilst the only tourists left were from other parts of the world!
The day after Thanksgiving is famous for the SALES, so we joined in the spirit of things and went to the Florida Mall for bargains aplenty!
The first week of December is especially quiet and every single ride was a walk on or a 5 min wait. A WONDERFUL time to visit as the Christmas Decs are up and its very, very magical and very, very quiet!
We WERE meant to be going on the 17th November this year as its one of our favourite times to go, but due to DHs work, we had to change to Christmas itself. It really is a great time to go and I dont think the crowds will be too hard to handle. It was much busier in May and October....October seems very popular now, with the Halloween festivities, Food N Wine festival, plus the UK schools are on half term. November is much quieter, even around Thanksgiving. That has been my experience anyway!
