November crowds

I was wondering if anyone has been to WDW in early november. We are planning a trip for November 4-8 and we are really hoping that the crowds will not be too bad. We were just there December 31 - January 6 and the crowds were terrible. According to some websites, that is suppose to be a slow time with the exception of New Years but it was nuts. We were disappointed because we were hoping to get onto the rides more than once and not spend a whole lot of time standing in line but that didn't happen. Hopefully going in November will be a little bit better for crowds. Any info would be great.

3rd to the 13th 2004 and the crowds were very good. It did pick up the closer to the Super Soap weekend, but you should miss that.

Remember this is just my opinion and experience. If you want to go in Nov and have low/no crowds then you should go either the week right before Thanksgiving or the week right after Thanksgiving weekend.
At the time frame you are talking about is when it is "Jersey week"(do a search you'll find a ton of info)also, the food and wine festival, and Super Soaps weekend.
If you are like me and even alittle crowded is too much for you then you will not like the time you are talking about! I try to avoid it at all costs!!LOL We love going the week before Thanksgiving because of the low crowds and great weather. We are always able to swim!

I should add that I believe the dates for nthe NJ convention this year are 11/8, 11/9? Also I believe SSW is 11/9. You might be OK if you leave before that weekend. But you might not if alot of people take off that week 11/4-11/8. I believe the NJ schools also have another day off that week so alot of families take advantage and head down to WDW.
