Hi. I am trying to plan a trip for November 13th through the 20th. There appears to be little to no availability at most of the resorts. Interested in moderate or deluxe. Will they be releasing more rooms in the near future or what is there now is all that there will be? Thanks for the help.

Disney doesn't benefit by holding rooms back. What you see is what they can book for your dates at this time. Some resorts are not open and have no reopening date scheduled. If that changes, you will see more room inventory open up.

The 50th anniversary celebrations start Oct 1. Some resorts are still closed with no announced opening dates. Bookings do seem to be up all around as there is apparently a pent up desire for a Disney vacation. There may be conventions booked & some travel agencies have blocks of rooms. Rooms from those inventories may eventually be released if returned to Disney. But Disney does not hold back rooms specifically to release later. They also use an algorithm to prevent single rom nights, so sometimes trying different lengths of stays might show different availability. People used to book longer lengths of stays to get the room they wanted & then call to drop nights. But that got harder to do several years ago as Disney stopped routinely allowing it.

I had the same issue a co worker wanted me to book a trip for her thanksgiving week the only hotel option is Coronado Springs.

We were wanting 4 nights at CCV at the end of November. I did search only 1, 2, or 3 days at a time. Also switching dates around . I found 3 nights at CCV then 1 day at the beginning of the 3 days so I booked both. That was several weeks ago. I’m hoping they can link it together. It’s not been easy to find what we wanted.

Keep Checking. I checked an insane amount of times everyday for a couple months and we finally snagged a preferred room at CSR that popped up about a week ago when before only $900 per night rooms were available. I released a Std room 5th sleeper at CBR a couple days later so hopefully that gave someone who wanted CBR a room. Just sayin people change plans all the time so it is very possible something will come available if your lucky enough to find it.

CCV is a sold out DVC resort. So you were lucky to find much of anything available for cash.
