November 8-12 2009 4 night Wonder

Is someone know if we will be lucky enough to see some Christmas decorations on the Wonder during our cruise?

I found a schedule from a few years ago, and it showed the decorations being up on the boat during the second week of November...which means we would be in luck!

I don't think it's guaranteed, though. I'd say expect nothing and be pleasantly surprised if the decorations are there.

We probably wouldn't see them in the terminal or on the island yet, though.

I thought that we can be in luck because at Magic Kingdom the MVMCP start on november 10 and in Hollywood Studios the Osborne to... so maybe on the Wonder we will have the chance to see some decorations.... I cross my fingers

We picked up our documents today!!! I can't believe we leave in 2 weeks! I am forever making lists of things not to forget. I apolize for my DH as he is a huge Steelers Fan. My DS is a huge Yankees fan. What are the chances they have the Yankees Channel in the Sports Bar? Is anyone starting to feel like all this planning is finally going to pay off?

If it's a Yankees/Phillies World Series he will be in heaven! They are his two favorite teams. We live close to The Blue Claws (their minor league team) so we go to the games quite regularly in the summer. My DS's Fall Ball Team is the Phillies. It would be interesing to see how many times he switches his loyalty during the game! Is it possible to wear two jerseys at one time?LOL

We're down to single digits before our flight! Naturally my son is now on antibiotics and my wife has a sinus infection. Sigh...

7 days from this moment we will be landing in Orlando for our Land portion! So excited. I've never been a worrier, but this time around the H1N1 has me so nervous. So far we have colds and ear infections going.... here's hoping thats all! Our area hasn't had the injectable vacine and my kids can't get the mist. It's beyond my control so I know I shouldn't focus on it.

Capt Oblivious - I hope your all feeling better and it's not serious! I assume/hope you are a Phillies fan too besides our beloved Eagles. The birds looked awful on Sunday and got lucky. We can't beat the cowboys playing like that.

Eyeoremountainpals - thanks for organizing the FE exchange. I've never done anything like that and am looking forward to it!

Wow, I have been reading for years, now i am finally a member... This is our family's first cruise and my mom is coming too, her first as well. We have adjoining rooms. We have 3 kids: dd-almost 9, ds 4 and dd 21 mos. Older DD will be with my mom in her stateroom. We have made our ressies for palo, founders, spa and registered the kids for the club/lab. But I have only just begun to think about packing and feel so unprepared!!!

I know it is going to be fun, but I am still nervous. We're driving down from NJ with a 2 day stop in SC to visit dh's folks. Then we will drive to Port sat and stay one night. This is the first vacation in years that I won't need to cook, clean, do laundry, etc!!! I can't wait.

I am too late for FE exchange but maybe next time. I hope DH really likes it, so there can be a next time, LOL!

goeagles: Thanks for the well-wishes! With our luck, we'll pump everyone full of drugs so we'll be healed just in time to get seasick on the boat!

And yes, I'm totally wrapped up in the Phillies right now. It helps take my mind off the sputtering Eagles offense. Hopefully we'll be celebrating another championship on board!
