  • 2700 passengers on our cruise
  • 1100 were children
  • 30 percent of the passengers were return cruisers
  • There were 6900 pieces of luggage in customs during disembarkation

Interesting facts!
It would be interesting to compare the typical percent of returning cruisers...I know it's been high lately due to the $99 special.

There was a 99.00 special?! :earseek:
Id feel incredibly stupid admitting how much Im paying! LOL

Redhead01, don't feel to blond, you had to take a cruise in January of this year to qualify for the $99 dollar cruise.

LOL..thanks. Thats good to know. I thought I missed out on a great deal and spent thousands of dollars more then I had to.

Towncrier, How did you get those stats? That's interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I believe that I culled the info from the various informational talks provided by Cruise Director Rick. The only statistic that I didn't hear was just how many cruisers were from New Jersey. Since there was a school holiday that week, we had lots of folks from the Garden State on the ship. But exactly how many will probably never been known.

Wow! Intresting facts! Two of those 1100 Disney kids were ours, and they had a great time. We wern't in the 30% of returning cruisers this time though. That will have to wait till 11/07/2004 when we return for the four day Wonder.

Another interesting fact from one of the mickey game shows is there are 5716
pillows on board and 887(I think) staterooms.
It was great fun seeing John and Sue again. BTW, guys I have a great pic to email you from the sunset on deck.
We've been in cruise withdrawal most of the week, with constant phrases such as "last week at this time we were...." being heard from all family members :-( Salt in the wound was our very good family friends were on the 11/14 cruise and just got back.
We all had a fantastic time on this cruise!
Anyone know where we can make a few recommendations though?

Ilene - I hope that your sunset picture turned out better than our film versions. We have a couple of great shots of a yellow dot on the horizon and our sillhouttes. Great mood shots, but you really can't tell that it's us.

I posted our cruise photos (or at least some of them) over on the Cruise Line Trip Reports Board. Here's the link:

As far as cruise withdrawl symptoms. I wish that I had a cure because we are saying and hearing the same things here at our home.

Towncrier was also kind enough to share the navs. from his cruise. My hubby scanned them in and posted them on our website at www.castawayclub.com
