We haven't done a whole lot of posting - but we are getting very excited for the cruise and to meet everyone. Finally got our Fish Extender and are assembling the goodies.
Most importantly, here's to hoping we are celebrating the Philadelphia Phillies repeating as World Series Champions! And then of course we will find a way to watch the Eagles beat Dallas on the first night!

Hoping to celebrate the Phillies too. Unfortunately the World Series is so close to the cruise and we won't be able to go to see the Phillies to do a repeat of last year. My daughter, nephew, and sister got to go to the World Series last year. But the Eagles Jersey are packed for when we stomp the Cowboys!!!!!!

Being from South Jersey/Boston I have both loves. For baseball its Phillies all the way. My family is always at the games. But Football true love is Patriots. The family is bringing our Patriots Jerseys to do our Xmas card Picture in front of Xmas Tree.

Let the smack talk begin...Patriots 3-1 not a bad start for Brady taking a year off.

Okay, with all the sports talk, I'll say GO PHILLIES! Our friends who we are cruising with are from Philly (we met them 5 years ago on the Magic). Last year we met up in WDW and they brought DD a Phillies shirt for her first birthday. The Phillies won the World Series while we were there. DH likes the Pittsburgh Pirates, so DD and I have fun teasing him while we cheer for the Phillies. That's all the sports talk from me for today.

I checked the order status on the wristbands and they are currently in production. I let you know when I know more. I have pm'd everyone about payment, so if you ordered them you should have gotten a pm. I received some of the money already, and know most of it is on the way. If you are just barely sending payment, no worries. I'll let you know when I receive it.

If anyone didn't order wristbands and wants them, I did order some extra so that latecomers can get in on them if they want. If nothing else, I'll give some extras to our friends and family on the cruise.

DD is doing better, not 100% yet, but not needing immediate medical attention either. Hopefully that is all of the sickness we'll have around here for a while (at least until after the cruise). We followed up with her pediatrician yesterday and he put her on an antibiotic in case the cultures come back positive--we'll find out by Thursday. I just feel bad because she already has major anxiety about going to the Dr. and we've been working on that (got her a cute toy medical kit) and was hoping that she wouldn't freak out next week at her Well Child Check-up. Well, after this weekend I think I spoiled my plan.

Kathy--thanks again for the FE list. Will you note on it which cabin we should check the list on in case there are upgrades/updates?

Gail....Wedding Pictures are beautiful. I agree the guys group picture is very original. Looks like it was a big wedding party??? Beautiful Day for a beautiful wedding.

Just so you all know....my mom is driving me crazy with all these cruise preparations. She's out of work from her surgery so she tends to call me 6 times a day. I need a vacation from prepping for this cruise. Boy I will need many drinks when I get on the ship!!!!

Good morning everyone! I think I may be caught up on my sleep from the excitement last weekend - or I hope so anyway. Once things get settled down I can get my FE's done, boxed up and ready to ship. I will also officially start the cruise pile of clothes in Drew's room I guess - he won't be home until after we get back so no worries if I cover his bed. I can't believe that we leave 4 weeks from Friday - it will be here before I know it.

BRrrrrrrr its cold today. 38 when I got up the courage to look at the thermometer.

Today is the 7th, so one month everyone!!!!

Quiet here today. Will try to finish up my FE gifts this week so I can get to my door signs. Time is really flying by now

I have made 2 changes on the FE list so tomorrow I will be sending out a revised edition. Be sure and look for a room change for Donna. That is the major change on it.
If I get the time I will even send the list out later today.

I worked on the scrapbook page kits this morning. It's pretty cute. I am happy. Then I had the financial planner. this afternoon flu shot. Can you see how the day deteriorates? lol. But, we're going out to supper, so it will look up again.

There is a FE swap going on. Mom x4,Grandma x4 (Kathy) is taking care of the list. She is on here regularly so she can fill you in.

I have ordered wristbands for our group and did order a few extra if you and DH would like some. They are lime green and say "Ahoy, St. Croix 11.7.09". We thought this would be a good way for us to identify the DISers on the ship. If you do want some, the cost for 2 would be $5 (includes shipping to you) and there are 3 sizes available.


Just a note to everyone who ordered wristbands--I just checked the order status and they are out of production and on to packaging. That means they be shipped soon. Hooray! I'm thinking/hoping that means I'll see them next week and I'll turn around and mail them out within a day.

I have been busy putting together my FE gifts for the kiddos. Did I mention my tendency to overdo? It does not help matters that I actually work at the head office of a chain of toy stores...
I think DH might make me cut into my shoe allowance to make room for the FE gifts...

Speaking of FEs... does anyone else get the puzzled looks from others when explaining about them? I was at the hairdresser tonight, explaining with great excitement about the whole FE thing and all I got from my hairdresser was "oh... okay then". Like I am nutso. Ditto from my ILs that are cruising with us for goodness' sake! What the heck?
Thank goodness I have all of you, my fellow nerdy DIS friends to make me feel much less crazy.

We have Thanksgiving this weekend, too much food and not enough time for making FE gifts. Yikes. Well, they will get done some time in the next month, that's for sure, LOL.

thanks for the updated list Kathy. I think that even I, with zero sense of direction, should be able to find my way around with the list so well organized.

WOO HOO! One month to go.

Or, as I like to call it, the official start of PRE-CRUISE PANIC season!
Gotta figure out Formal Night, Pirate Night and Semi Formal nights so that we don't look exactly the same as past cruise photos. Must get going on those FEs, add a few new door magnets, t-shirts, etc, etc, etc.

Oh, and must now eliminate food from my diet in order to compensate for the onboard pounds that always find their way to my stateroom!
