No allergies here either, unless you are planning to give us a cat.
DH is allergic to them, I on the other hand like them.
Favorite memories: (notice it is plural)
My DGD was about 3 when we saw Snow White and the Dwarfs and she wanted to see them. When it was her turn she was so impressed by Snow Whites dress that she asked if she could touch it. Of course SW said yes. I swear Sara's hand was shaking and she had tears in her eyes as she was reaching out to touch that dress.
My grandson was also about two when we were at MGM watching the motorcars parade, Ian loved Peter Pan and he was sitting in his stroller watching as PP came by, Ian reached out his hand and PP walked over and shook his hand and spoke to him. Ian's face was priceless.
Another time, Sara maybe 5 at the time insisted on going on the dinosaur ride at AK, I kept telling her that it would scare the bejeebers out of her, but she kept throwing a fit that she wasn't scared and the dinosaurs were just Mickey Mouse dinosaurs. Her mom finally decided to let her ride it, against my better judgement, Well the first big dinosaur did Sara in. She was getting out of that car no matter what. My daughter and I lterally put Sara's face in our laps and leaned over her to both, keep her in the car, and to keep her from seeing any more of the ride. After we got off, she and I were walking away from the ride and she stated rather loudly "The next time I ride that ride, it will be with my husband" One of the CM's happened to hear her, and was cracking up.
Those are a couple of my favorites.
Gotta run, water areobics tonight.
Later,
V
