Just got back a little while ago. Had a good weekend.
Heading back to the upper 90's this week Hope we don't hot 100 again. I don't like it that hot.

I'll check back in the morning, I am tired now and still have some dishes to wash and laundry to put away.

Thanks so much guys. I am so excited and happy. We went to Galveston for the weekend and stayed in a very nice hotel. The room was so beautiful. The room had 14 ft ceilings,and huge windows all the way up to the ceiling. So we went and had dinner on the sea wall and then after dinner he wanted to take a walk on the beach. I was kinda getting nervous thinking what was going on as he did look a little pale and nervous. So we took a walk and he got a stick and wrote in the sand Tim loves Traci Forever and when I turned around he was on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was so sweet. When we got back to our hotel he ordered champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.

Boy it was a quiet day on the board today.

I guess everyone was busy getting back to work for the week.

I dont like page 2!
We need to stay on page 1 so new people can find us more easily. Most dont realise they can click on the link at the top and scroll down to the date to find us.
I can't believe we are this close and no new people joining us.

Usually we have lots of last minute people joining in towards the last couple of months.
I know the ship is not full. They still have rooms in all categories, or at least early this morning they did. 2 years ago that would not have happened.

Time to get the dishes done and cleaned up for bed here. I will catch you in the morning all,

Ladies and gentlemen, it was a big day for me today.
I went bathing suit shopping
and
I emerged victorious with not just one but two new suits! Great prices too!
How about that???
I don't know about where you all live, but here in southern Ontario the stores are busy clearing out all of the summer stuff to make room for those awful winter coats and sweaters and whatnot. So, it's the perfect time to stock up for our little cruise!

I also got the first part of what I need to make my FE gifts, the ones for the grownups anyway. DD was not too impressed with my idea, she had to make sure I had another plan for the kids. LOL.

We had a great weekend here, the weather was hot and sticky, just the way I like it. For a while anyway...

Congratulations on the bathing suit finds, Laurie! That really IS quite a coupe! I haven't bought one off the rack in years - the fitting room is just too traumatic - so I order from Land's end. The trouble with that is - no bargains

Today is going to be another scorcher here - thank heavens for AC! (and new windows and extra insulation!)

Fixing to go out to the gym and pool, then home to work on my fish extenders, hem some shorts, and finish revising my will. IT *WILL* be done before we travel again.

hot one again today. Tomorrow 101 now. They keep increasing it on the news. So who knows how hot it will really be.

Laurie, great job on finding a suit.
I have the same suit for 8 or 9 years now it is so stretchy I can fit into it even when I am expanding throughout the years
I wear them so seldom I never need to get a new one. Good thing too, that would be depressing to have to get a larger size.


Pretty quiet morning here today. Looks like Greg forgot his work phone today so I may have to run that into him this morning. He has never done that before. I will call his office to see if he wants it or not. I am not driving that far unless he really wants it.

No, Donna! Not a bit of it. But you know, times change, families change so we try to update every 10 years or so. DH was in the military, so we've always had wills, even in our 20s. In one's youth, it's about potential guardians for the children, and so forth. Now, on the cusp of old age, quite frankly I want to be in control of where my assets go in the event something dire happens, NOT the state!

Fish Extenders! I'm sorry I ever STARTED this thing. I can tell you if you use the print it yourself hot iron transfers for dark fabrics, follow the directions EXPLICITly! OYE.

time for a nap. Thinks the thing will look better later.

Traci - this is directly from the DCL website with an 8:00 guest ashore. I would ask them directly at Coral World how long it would take you to get from the port to them and then toy can decide. Since we don't have to clear customs and assuming that we are docking and not tendering, I would think you should be fine.
