Got most of the packing done today. Just have the odds and ends and bathroom bags to finish up. I'm trying to get this all taken care of today so that I can clean up the house tomorrow.

I'm sure I'll stop in some tomorrow as I wait and anticipate leaving. Not really looking forward to the red-eye. DD will hopefully sleep and so will DH, but I can't seem to sleep on planes. I'll be the one walking around like a zombie in AK on Thursday.

Traci, sorry you had a crummy day. DH did too. Hope tomorrow is better. It is definitely time for a vacation!!!

Hey all, late night check-in here.

Finishing up my FEs tonight... I know, a bit late, but in line with my usual pre-cruise schedule! Tomorrow I will really start to assemble outfits/clothes, etc. That always brings a bit of drama (like, OMG, I don't have the right shoes, etc).
Hope everyone is doing well.

And, HEY, by the time I typed this, it's officially Wednesday....

Oh, the drama here!

My MIL fell yesterday and broke her ankle. Doc said NO to traveling! so, after talking to both MIL and FIL, I called DVC and took them off our reservation, called my wedding planner and had them taken off the reception. Now today, she's thought the better of it. So I called DCL, no HA rooms available, but they were so nice, and said they'll try to work something out. Got her a folding wheelchair, and called to rent a scooter for the week at WDW. Whew.

And finally finished my scrap swap just now!!

Still have a couple shirts to finish (26 done!). And ironing, so dress shirts can go in the garment bag. All the major packing still needs to get done.

Off to take my parents to the airport! Have a great night everyone!

Does anyone know how accurate the weather is on the weather channel.com? I looked up St. Croix and St. Thomas and they say it'll be showers and mid to high 80's for the next 10 days. I'm a little concerned about the weather.

Not sure if they are wearing them to board or to the meet. Did we ever talk about that? I dont know...

Do NOT worry about the weather. If you had followed the weather for the last 6 months and the next 6 months, you would see that that is a consistant forecast - there's ALWAYS the chance of showers. Now, if the forecast had said HURRICANE - THEN I might be a little concerned about the potential for disruption of my plans.

I did call DCL too but they weren't much help. Alot if and buts that I didnt fall in those categories. I found someone asking the same question. It says a copy of birth certificate along with passport will do. So that is what I'll do since getting her father to sign a paper and have it notarized before I leave will be impossible.

I have never found weather predicitions (and sometimes even the "it is currently yada, yada, yada) to be very accurate. If it does shower - it will be a quick one most likely and shouldn't disrupt any activity. The temps sound perfect.

Well, suitcases will be shut tonight, need to finish the carry ons and we will be ready. Tomorrow I have two appointments and we are outa here! Can't wait!

We bring our own beer and pop (Pepsi lover here) but drink both out of the cans. You can ask your room steward for glasses and he will provide them.

Today is the day to clean so I can come home to a clean house. We usually are running around getting things ready at the last minute so this is out of the norm, but I'd really like things tidied up.

I am so with ya girl. I have to work today and tomorrow (thur). We leave friday. And I haven't packed at all bc I can't do it without Nathan knowing. So I will do it friday morning while he is at school before I pick him up early.

We are flying in and staying at CBR the night before so we have no way to get any. Wish we did so we didnt have to spend so much money. But no worries.

I am bringing alcohol with me onboard. We are purchasing the beer mug for the bar anyway so we will have that and I read you can ask for a wine glass to be brought to your room.
