November 5th 2011 Eastern on the Magic

We just booked for East-West Caribbean B2B cruises! We were on the East Bound Trans-Atlantic (2nd time), but decided to stay in this hemisphere. We could not think of going for "only" 1 week, so are doing both! The thing is, the kids (DS13 and DD10 at that time) do not know that we have the 2nd cruise. That will be our surprise for them when we get back to port on 11/12.

Oh, there are 4 of us: myself, DW, DS13 and DD10 at the time of the curise.

Hi all.
So we went on this cruise in 2009, and being from NJ we booked on board. But we got the week wrong!. We book the cruise for the week before this. Now are have to see if we can change to this one. We are very picky about rooms so I'm worried now that we won't be able to get on this. We are very upset at the moment.

Don't know what we are going to do.

We did the same thing. We were on the this cruise last week and just assumed that it would be the same week! Oh well off to change that!

Count us in for the Nov 5th Cruise!

Well, we are on the fence, and I hope that we will be booking this cruise in the next couple of days.

This would be our 5th Family Cruise within 36 months, but our first DCL Cruise.

Fingers Crossed that we can get this booked!

We have been on the Magic for Thanksgiving and to the Mexican Riviera but never the Eastern. We have also been on the Wonder, but always with our DD and DS so this will be the first time for my husband and me to enjoy a cruise alone. We are DVCers and tried to book for February but the earliest they have open is November so here we are. We received our confirmation documents yesterday and no wonder everyone gets so excited, the anticipation keeps building. Looking forward to the trip is as much fun as going.

OK, I know it is still (sigh) 9 months away, but I am really getting ready to get ready for this. We have taken spring cruises for the past 3 years, so it just seems like the season. I will se SO ready come November!

I wonder if this cruise will be full? There doesn't seem to be anyone from the boards going. 8 months will be here before we know it. I've been reading some of the reports from Eastern trips and it sounds great.

Jeff -We also were on the 2009 NJEA week cruise. (That is when the NJ teachers have a 3 day training seminar and many schools close for the whole week). We are DVCers and booked this after the 2009 cruise. We also going on the Dream this weekend for a 4 day cruise. Hope this thread gets more active the closer it gets to November.

I'm hoping to book this cruise. This post is my "bookmark" so I can easily find you guys again! Our local school board has just made a major (unprecedented, very unpopular) change to next year's calendar... even thought the calendars had been approved through 2013. If the calendar change stands, I plan to book this cruise and take my son out of school for 4 days (1 day is a student holiday anyway.) DH and I will celebrate our anniversary that week.

eta: Well, we booked January 2012 instead. DS won't miss a single day of school and we'll get a double dip to Castaway Cay. I hope you guys have a wonderful cruise!

Well we booked this cruise while on our first cruise in Oct 2010. We were not sure if we were gonna move the date, but have decided to cruise this week...

We can't wait! we had a blast in October which was our first ever cruise. Daughters are excited to be on board on the best wish day of the Century (so they tell me) 11-11-11 at 11.

We just got our confirmation for this trip (Nov 5, Magic) last Friday. This is my family's first cruise and our first real vacation in a LONG time. I have 3 boys (14,11,4) and 1 girl (1) and are impatiently waiting to head out!

Hi! We were originally going to get married on Castaway but we didn't want to disrupt our guests day on the island. We moved it to an onboard ceremony ( deck 7 aft) on a "At sea day". Yeah can't wait
