I posted the wrong day earlier. Anyone going on 11/5 on the Wonder?

I know it is early but come on there has to be someone out there going or planning at least....

I know this cruise is 16 months away but I truly hope someone books and will be on the same cruise.

In June we went to WDW and I was able to meet up with another couple that was on their honeymoon. We had meet on another board. It was a blas tto meet them. Although we did not get to spend much time with them it was still fun.

My DD will be 13 and my DS will be within a few days of turning 12 on this cruise. I am hoping their will be other teenagers going and maybe DD can get to know some prior to cruising in November. Maybe DS can meet a few boys prior to cruising as well. He is devasted his sister will be to be in the teen club. Not upset that she will not be with him~just upset that she will get to do something he can not. Sibling rivalary.

::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo I think you mean November 6. We are going to WDW for 4 nights Nov. 2-5 at the Poly then DCL for the 4 night from Nov 6 -10. We have two boys 5 and 11. The 11 yo would love to meet another boy. This will be our first time to WDW and DCL we are really psyched. My oldest is into Football and Lacrosse and plays the violin(well ok - only when forced) and of course video games. We are celebrating my passing my nursing boards in Feb. and 4 long years of nursing school with no expensive family vacation - so we want to have lots of fun.

Is anybody going on this cruise? On passporter it seems nobody has posted for this date?

Never mind - sorry I did not see 2006. Have a Great time - we are going November 6 2005.

We are also booked on the 11-5-06 Wonder. It will be myself, DH and DDs ages 11, 9 and 7. It's our first family cruise....and we're sooo excited!!

Summfam4....how old are the kids travelling with you?

Jsme....we're coming from NC, too!

My BIL and his family are not able to go now, so our 8 is down to 4.

mcchlse, DDs are 12 & 7

We are going on Nov 5th on the Wonder...can't wait, the family is so excited, it will be a long 6 months before the trip...I hope we can hold out that long :mickeyjum :hourglass

Summfam: hope we can get together on the boat

epcotdaddy: soooo funny! It might be possible since we are sharing a cabin!!

We just backed our first cruise up to 11/05. Had vacation problem with first plan of Sept. 7 day. Works out very well however, now we will not miss out on fall WDW trip. Made our own Land & Sea package 4 days at WDW and then the cruise after. Can't WAIT! old pros at WDW but the kids DS-9, DD-7, DS-5 are finally big enough to try the cruise. Sounds like even MORE fun. Would enjoy exchanging ideas and advice with any and all. New to forum but enjoying all the good info.

:) My family is on the Disney Wonder - November 5 - 9, 2006. We have two children Boy 7 and Girl 5. Looking forward to meeting others on the ship.

We're going on the Wonder too! 11/5 through 11/9. We've never been on a Disney cruise before and have no idea what to expect. It's me (mom-43), my husband (45) and daughter (8) and son (5). 2 questions: what's the best way from Orlando airport to the port? Also what exactly does your stateroom category number mean? I've seen some talk about upgrades. Is it better to have a lower number than a higher number? We're clueless! (but still happy and thrilled to be going).

Okay, sorry for the last question re: the stateroom categories. I found the FAQ and got my question answered. Now to get to the ship from the airport . . . I can't wait until 11/5!

Howdy everyone,
I am not going with you, wish I was, but we are going 4/5 on the Wonder.

Please excuse me for crashing your thread, but I have some important information for anyone cruising on the Wonder after tomarrow.

There is a thread on the main forum with 2 letters from DCL that confirms what I am about to tell you. If you would like to read it, it is titled BAD ENTERTAINMENT CHANGES ON THE WONDER
Please check it out the letters are about the 10th post or close to that.

Basically DCL is taking away the house band from the Wonder.
This means NO live music a the sailaway party
No live music in Wave Bands club at night
Youwill have aDJ and recorded music from now on.

Personally I think this stinks!!! We have always had the live music and it really adds so much to the cruise experience. If I wanted to listen to a DJ and CD's I could of stayed home.
Well I just wanted you to know what has happened. If this seems unfair to you, please take 5 minutes and let DCL know how you feel about it.
If it doesnt matter to you that is fine too, I just wanted you to know before you cruise.

here is the address if you want to write:

dcl.guest.communications@disneycruise.com

No matter what you decide,
I want to wish you all a very Magical crusie!!! :wizard:

mom x4,grandma x4

My family of 4 is also going Nov. 5-9, 2006. Myself, DH, DD 12 and DD 6. My 12 year old D has been in contact with another 12 year old girl also going. They have talked via PM and hope to meet up on the ship.

Counting down the days!!!!! :cheer2:
