November 4th, 2007 Disney Wonder Roll Call

I'm soooo happy. Paid off the cruise yesterday. Now, we just have to wait for about 82 days till paradise. A few things going on before then, so hopefully the time will fly by. Then hopefully the time will drrraaaaggggg.
Then DH plans to book a Double Dip for either May 11 or May 18 while onboard, so I get to look forward to planning another cruise 6 months after this one. I think DH is "hooked".

Yes, we are getting very excited!!! Hey, Henlady, what part of Pennsylvania are you from?? My Husband is from Pittsburgh.
We are actually doing a Fort Wilderness Cabin for Labor Day weekend and then camping in Fort Wilderness in October, so we will be "Disney" professionals by the time the cruise comes!!!

Hi drc712, we live in the Altoona area. My DD lives in Pittsburgh which is about 2 hours away (sometimes longer - driving that awful Rt 22 that is still "under construction" for about 2/3 of the way).
Aren't you the lucky one getting two World trips in there before the cruise:goodvibes . We're doing a short trip (4 nights) to Myrtle Beach later this month with my DS and his DF. I'll just have to wait for MY Disney fix till Nov. 4. Then, look out......:dance3:

Yes, we get our fill of Disney because it's pretty much right in the back yard! We live about 45 minutes away and try to take advantage of the occasional Florida residents specials. I don't know who is more excited, our 3 year old or the Parents!!

drc712
I know what you mean about being excited. It's just something about Disney that does that to you. I feel sorry for the ones who "don't get it".
DH and I are in our mid 50's and we still love doing the disney thing. We are planning a trip to the world for September '08 for us, our kids (by then 25 & 27) and their families, and they are totally excited about it and it's a year away. They were 3 and 5 the first time we took them to Disney. My grandson will only be about 15 months old, so he's beating his mother for his first trip.

I've made 11 am ressies for DH and I for Palo for Brunch on the sea day. We did not do Palo on our first trip, so we're looking forward to this.
Only about 78 days to go.

Yes, make sure you book a Palo's Dinner. It will be the best meal and service you've ever had!!! This is a must!!! You won't regret it, I promise. Well, have to meet on the ship, our Palo brunch is at 11:30am on "Sea" day. My DH is 45 and I'l 39. We started a little late....hence the 3 1/2 year old. She keeps us young though!
Your 2008 trip sounds great! Eventually Grandma and Grandpa will be coming with us for a Family trip. Maybe 2008 too!
Anyways, lets hope the Hurricanes are gone for our November trip!!!

:dance3: I GOT PALO BRUNCH!!!!!:dance3:

I am so excited! I have been keeping my fingers crossed and praying that we would get any time slot for this, but I got the one I was hoping for! Noon to 1:30pm. Since it is Sea Day we want to sleep in...well as much as you can sleep in with an 8 and (celebrating the night before) newly 5 year old, that is.

DS is getting excited that he is going to be celebrating his birthday with Mickey and Minnie on the Disney "boat".

69 DAYS till Disney!!!!!
74 Days Till CRUSIN DISNEY STYLE!!!!!

Hello, Everyone

First Time on a Cruise Ship and We can't wait to go on DCl. Will be sailing with you on November 4th. Coming in that morning early and staying after in Orlando at the Marriott Grand Vista until the 12th.

Don't know what to expect. Made my reservation for Palo on Wednesday night at 7:30 pm . Couldn't get the brunch. Not a member of the Castaway Cay group yet.

Was upset that I couldn't make reservation for the doliphin encounter in Nassau. All sold out. Do you think I could get make a reservation when I am on the ship. Don't want to disappoint my daughter ( 8 years old). She also can't wait for the camp on the ship and to make friends her own age.

Would love to meet up with you all on the ship.

I am 43 years old and my hubby will be celebrating his 45 on the ship. We are from Long Island, NY.

We are also going on Wonder cruise on Nov. 4 - this is our first cruise. What is "Jersey Week"? We are from the Jersey shore, too - is this something to do with teachers' convention? Thanks!

You got it! :thumbsup2

Thanks, ChrisLei - It's all good because it's our first cruise. How crowded is the ship on "Jersey Week?" :)

Hello, ChrisLei
I see you have a daughter that is 8 years old.My daughter is also 8 years old. Does she do the camp for kids on the ship. My daughter is looking forward to making friends on the boat.

I have no idea since this will be our first Disney Cruise too. We may be spared the heavy crowds since most people are likely to go to the World instead. I'm hoping this is the case! LOL

Hi Zaks Pack2 & Steph1963.
Glad to see we have some more Dis'ers joining the cruise. The more the merrier. I guess I'm the "Grandma":rolleyes1 of the bunch, but we are just as excited as the little ones to be on the cruise.

Hi Henlady -
We're grandparents, too, but the kids won't be with us. Hubby and I are taking our first cruise, but it's our 3rd trip to WDW (going to be there before cruise). 59 days to go to WDW!!!
