November 3rd: 4 night Disney Dream - Who is joing us?

If you are going to use one of the off-site secured parking lots, you can go ahead and reserve a spot, or wait until the date gets closer (but don't wait until the last minute because some of them do fill up). We're going to use parkcruise dot com and it's only 5 minutes away from the port. Another recommended lot is cruise parking of port canaveral dot com. You can park in
Disney Cruise Line's parking garage for $15 a day ($75 for a 4-night cruise), but the off-site lots are much less expensive per day. The off-site lots have a free shuttle to and from the port.

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. :)

I still have not found the Facebook group. I will try to create one myself today if I get it set up I will let all of you know! Wish me luck!

Well let's see if that worked. Not sure how to post a link using my iPad but the title of the group is Disney Dream 11-3-13. If you search for it you should be able to find it. I used a globe as the icon, if that helps. Will work on getting a link on here.

Hi everyone,

I'm also traveling with my parents and family friends. This will be my 4th Disney cruise and 2nd time on Dream.

I look forward to chatting with everyone on Facebook.

I'd love to join the fish extender group for myself and my son only.

Went to get our taxes done and discovered to our shock that we owe about $2000!! My first thought was that I would have to cancel our cruise (oh no!). But I think we will break down and finally sell our horse trailer, and it should cover the taxes. It's an older one but was rebuilt from the ground up a few years ago, and it's a nice Trailet with a dressing room. We no longer have horses but we were holding on to it in the hopes of getting another one eventually.
Sure would hate to miss this cruise, so I hope it sells.

Oh dear! I hope it all works out for you! It would be a huge bummer to miss the trip for taxes.

We'll be on too! Me, my 7 year old DS and Gramma and Pop Pop. Can't wait...will be celebrating my bday and my parents 50th wedding anniversary. It is out 4th cruise and we would love to try the FE group for the 1st time!

Just got off the Fantasy yesterday and can't wait for this next cruise with you all and an FE.

How was the fantasy? I'm cruising on it next month and would love to know what's not to miss. We are on the eastern carribean. Not sure which one you were on.

Thanks
Tracy

7 days was awesome. Fantasy was awesome. Shows every nite were awesome. Nothing but the best all week. Had a lovely time and met lots of great people thru FE. The ocean was smooth entire week. Yay! No motion! Ha. We had 4K guests onboard as it was spring break. It never felt packed or busy at all or crowded. I was worried about that and surprised it didn't feel that way. Only elevators were hard to come by. Saw lots on the ship being 7 days that I never saw on the Dream a year ago. 7 days was awesome. We went western carribean. The ports were ok. Costa Maya was the most fun. Castaway we only had 2 rushed hours at. The entire week it was warm and humid and sunny. Then castaway day it was a gloomy windy day. Ocean was still smooth but overhead storm from Florida. He said he couldn't fight the winds to port there. This happened to us in the Dream last year too. was a storm and they couldn't port at castaway. So last week after that announcement we puttered out a while and at 2p he tried again and ported! So everyone rushed off at 2 and nothing was open at castaway but we swam, snorkeled etc in 2 hrs. Getting back on the ship with 4k people....there was a terrible long line behind us. Somehow we timed it right. Would've been fine if had all day and more sporadic groups coming back on diff times.
Clayton the cruise director is the best!
Pretty much everything the same as the Dream on ship (new aqua lab water park was great! And a Bippity boutique was great and never crowded of appts) and having more time was great. Have I said 7 days was great!? Ha.
We did a Rainforest pass on this ship. Totally fantastic.
Thanks for asking! You will have a fantastic time! Disney does it best!

Our family will be on this cruise too!!! There is 10 of us! My parents, my sister her husband 2 kids 16 & 8 year old girls myself and my husband and our 2 kids 6 year old girl & 4 year old boy!
