I can't believe we are less than 6 months now. I booked this cruise so long ago...I don't want to rush summer but can't wait for DCL!

Woo Hoo!! Welcome aboard. This will be a fun cruise.

Let me know if you want to be added to FE #2. Right now we have a few families. I will cap it off at 20 families.

How you do the FE is up to you. I will say it is not just for kids. Most people tend to give something to everyone. Some do just one family gift. Some just give to kids. Some do a gift to everyone plus a cabin family gift.

If you are just giving to kids, be aware that there will be some rooms with only one adult ... Or just a couple with no kids and you should plan accordingly. There won't be a lot but each FE already has childless rooms.

So in return, yes, you could receive lots of gifts. I suggest you take a small suitcase or duffel and fill it just with your FE gifts to hand out and then use that on the return. I've gotten small gifts like Disney pins and larger gifts like Disney dry erase boards, homemade autograph books, sand toys for CC.

As for when, it's up to you. If your gift is pirate theme, you might want to save for pirate night. If you are doing sand toys, then save for night before CC. If you are doing more practical like mini first aid kit, then give on first day. Once again, it's up to you.

My gifts are going to be generic, meaning not associated with pirate night or Bahamas or CC, so we will start to hand out the first evening and continue over the next day or so until they are done. I like to do a little at a time to explore the ship but not feel like it is a chore. My DH takes one girl and does one or two floors on the port side and I take the other girl and do one or two floors on the starboard side before breakfast or dinner and then we meet up.

We are booked. It's me, husband, and baby boy who will be 15 months oh and my mom too! We are going with in-laws and relatives to celebrate my mother-in-laws 70th birthday.
I am not sure about joining the fe since baby is still baby, but it does look like fun!

Welcome aboard!! Wow, getting married on CC is so very exciting!! Where do they do the ceremony? You guys are going to have a great cruise.

There are lots of girls around 8yo on this cruise so she will be able to make lots of friends!

My girls begged me to let them stay longer, eat in the club, etc. so it's nice to get some free adult time too. They even in a kids club on Castaway Cay so we were able to visit the adult only beach, which was very relaxing, swinging in the hammocks.
