While I dread the thought of a storm on board (simply because of the things it hinders), as long as I can get ON the ship ... I'm good to go!!!!!!

I must confess that this storm worries me a bit.it´s difficult to get good info about it over here in Germany.Do you think it could affect us or can I stop worrying?especially flying into Miami on Wednesday,i would hate to be in a plane when it´s stormy.

Bfosbenner - your rooms are really close to mine - we are in 8684, right in the back of the ship.

I am getting very worried about this storm...last year the same week we had a storm and lost power for close to a week and had major tree damage in my yard.

Also, i'm worried the ships won't be able to dock in port on Saturday and leave on time...what happens then? Do the cruisers this coming Saturday lose a day of their cruise if they have to leave on Sunday?

I don't know about your actual flight path, but by Wed, the storm should be far enough North that it shouldn't effect you. It will definately be far away from Miami by then.

It does look like it will be an issue for those coming in & leaving Sat.

Looks like it's gonna hit us (in NY) as a TS on Tuesday. We're flying out Thursday morning. I'm getting a little nervous! Hope any the cancelled flights & stranded travelers from Tues are sorted out by Thursday.

Hair is cut, luggage pulled out of the storage room, laundry is started, toes at 12:30... I can't sit still!!!

Glad to see the Fantasy made it back to port, hope the delay is minimal for everyone and the next group makes it out pretty close to time.

Finally starting to get ready for the trip! Voted this morning, got haircuts for DH & DS, dug out the luggage & started packing

DS was sick yesterday which has stacked up some extra homework. He also managed to grow another 1/2 inch in the last 7 days! According to the wall where we measure him, he has grown about 5" in the last 12 months. He is less than a 1/2" from passing my height I know I'm not tall (only 5'3", but I can't believe my kid is this tall already!)
