Got flights from Germany and they are so expensive.
We have to fly to Miami on Wednesday before the cruise and drive up to Orlando, its really 400,-€ less even with one more night and one more day for the rental car.
Directly to Orlando was close to 1100€ per Person,that is ridiculous.
So,for all of you who need Airfare,I hope you have more luck in finding a decent fare.
Anyway,now thas taken care of it´s back to saving so that we have at least some spending money.

Hey Conny, Good to hear you have flights already from Germany, unfortunately for us we are swimming from Australia to LA then may have to hitch the rest of the way, that US dollar dropped badly just when l was looking up flights, but we are currently in recovery...phew!!!

We will be probably be staying at the Raddisson at the port the day, it was very convenient, close, well organised to get to the ship and had food options close by, not to mention a fabulous pool, the rooms were a bit average, and the air con a bit noisy, but did l mention the fabulous pool!!

Can wait to cruise and thanks guys for counting down, l nearly have a heart attack each time l see the fridays dropping.....

Just kidding,right now I´m glad I got the flights the price has gone up again.
And hopefully the Euro will pick up a little so we could pay the cruise at a nicer rate.
We ,too are looking forward and counting done the days to get going and check if the fantasy is as nice as the Dream.Maybe I´llmanage to find a day to go up to Papenburg after the float out and look at her.

Oh my youngest dd will be delighted. I enjoyed the detective game so much on the Dream, I played it one night while the kids were in the clubs.

Hello everybody it's that time again.

We have only...

More FRIDAYS until we are on our cruise.

Forgot to say who all was traveling with me it will be DH, DD(14) and DD Friend (13)

We are driving down from Northen VA and we are staying that night in Daytona Beach and the night after our cruise at BLT, theme park view YEAH!!!

I missed the first day of booking and was so afraid it would be booked up, they are the first to go on vetern's weekend.


Like a couple of other people on the cruise, we are waiting for the school schedule to come out for next year. Really can they get on it and post it early, some of us can't wait till April/May to plan ahead. My DD's school always gets 2 days off near Vetern's day, for example this year they had Mon/Tues off the week of Vet Day which was Friday. They do parent/teacher stuff during the election.

I need Vetern's day off when we get back to relax and get over my PCDS (post cruise depresison syndrome) which my DH thinks will be the worst this time since I can't stopping talking everyday about the trip.

So far we have three families from our Apr '11 Dream Bahamas 4 Nt on this cruise, Scootch, Jacintabelle, and us! Plus, I talked up my for the cruise that my girlfriend also booked with her family.

Can't wait!!!

Which April Dream cruise were you on? We went in April also
