November 3, 2007 - Western on the Magic

I bought the magentic paper (at the Dollar Tree, no less) but I haven't even THOUGHT about what I want to put on them. I'm thinking I might do a scrapbook page and attach it to the magnetic "paper" with removable adhesive so I can put them in my scrapbook when I get home. Then I can reuse the magnetic "paper" again as well!

OR

I could put the scrapbook page into a clear plastic sleeve and slip the magnetic sheet into the sleeve as well. It will still hold onto the door, but no adhesive will be used.

Ah, now that's a plan.

I love it when I'm brilliant.

I've seen where some people know what their rotation is before their cruise due to a special request or the travel agent request. Generally your rotation and table number will be on the Key To the World card (room key, charge card) they give you upon check in.

We requested 8:30 dining because we wanted late dining and we wanted the LAP rotation.

We have LAP rotation and it bums me out! I have been dying to try the BBQ ribs at Parrot Cay and that is formal night! I am NOT eating ribs in a formal.

Well, if they bring me a table cloth to tie around my neck I might.

After all it is Disney...so if you ask them to bring you a table cloth, they just might!:rotfl:

My DD loved the ribs last Nov.

Hmmm seems the trick might be to match the color of a formal dress to the color of barbecue sauce.

Thanks everyone for the wellwishes!! I m goin with the mindset that everything will be great lol. I read a few boards bout cruising while pregnant and apparently they are allll abut makin mom comfortable.

Congratulations!! :goodvibes

I will be happy to help you out by drinking all your pina coladas and margaritas. They aren't good for the baby, so I'll just take them off your hands for you.

ohhh nooo dont touch my pina coladas! u can have the alcohol from them...but the rest of that beautiful rich frothy drink is allll mine!

You know a pina colado without the alcohol is just pineapple juice, right?

I read in another thread about taking lunch/sandwich from the ship on your excursion. Does anyone recommend doing this and, if so, how to do it??

I thought PC's were made from coconut? I guess there's probably some pineapple too, but I always taste coconut. Or am I thinking of something else?

The pina part is pineapple. The colada part is coconut cream and rum.

Everything I've ever read about taking food off the boat says it's illegal.

:rolleyes1 We have ordered late-night room service - sandwiches and a plate of chocolate chip cookies. We brought our own ziplock bags with us and took it ashore with us the next morning.

4 weeks from tonight, we'll be sleeping on the ship!!!:cool1:

Congrats, Veronica!!! What happy news!

I'm making up a set of scrapbook page kits for each day of the cruise to put on our door. I'll also be bringing extras along in case anyone is interested in doing some scrapping on the ship and going home with 14 completed pages! Most of my kits are 15 minutes or less to put together, but some will have some new techniques in case anyone is interested in learning those, too!

I have one more show between now and then, but after that one, it will be full speed ahead CRUISE PREP!

Thanks for the info, DuncanLL. sounds like a plan! Are you ready for sailing!? It's under 4 weeks now:cool1:
