rat-birds????
It's good to here he's doing well. Nothing like a Disney Cruise (and a couple drinks of the day) to aid in the recovery. How are you holding up? Bet you could use a cocktail or two come cruise time!
Once I approached a woman at the Magic Kingdom who had a bright green ribbon tied to her child's stroller. It was just so she would be able to locate it in the crowd, as I found out. She thought I was nuts when I asked her if she DISed.
We usually see quite a few men in tuxes which always surprised me. There are also a good deal of men in suits, some in sport jackets and others in t-shirts. I would think the average has been at least 50% in tuxes but it varies cruise to cruise. You will see less boys in tuxes than men. Boys can get away with dressing down a bit more. Until last year when I bought my sons tuxes they always wore white shirts, black pants with a black vest and tie and they were not out of place. One thing that we always considered when getting in formal wear was the opportunity to get a great family portrait for nothing more than the cost of the picture.
My plan is to try to get a good portrait out of it as well and hopefully use for Christmas cards. We did go to the mall and get everyone measured for tuxes today, including DS 1 1/2. DH of course was kicking and screaming, he just doesn't like to dress up. My debate now is whether to rent or buy for the baby. The tux for the little guy is only $65 to purchase. I just might do that.
Thanks for the feedback.
Hi All! Can't believe it's October 1st, it's getting closer and closer!!!
I was just reading on the main board re: tuxedos on formal night and how few men (some say 1/3 or 5%) wear tuxedos. My DH and DS(9 & 1 &1/2) are planning to wear a tux but I just know my DH will have something to say if not many men will be in one. I was just wondering how many on our cruise will actually be in tuxedos?
Thanks,
Cindy
