Does anyone know which night is Pirate night?
I hope the DCL login problem is resolved and everyone is able to get the reservations they want!

Pirate night is Wednesday, Cozumel day.

I was able to get on at midnight and get my ressies but it wouldn't let me do online check in. We are doing Palo early on Pirate night. I was bummed that there were no brunch or tea available. I guess I will try onboard. I got my spa ressie for Monday.
We are going on our own in Key West.
Grand Cayman is the Pirate Encounter.
Cozumel is Discover Snorkel.
Castaway cay is Stingray Adventure.
How about eveyone else?

We are doing Cozumel Beach Break, and the Pirate Museum in Key West.
I booked Palo for Tuesday night at 6 pm, and High Tea for Monday afternoon. At first, I didn't book brunch when I made my ressies at midnight at the 90 day mark, but then I later decided that we wanted to do brunch but it was too late! Maybe we'll have luck when we go on board with a reservation.

I stayed up last night to make our reservations. They were supposed to be available at 11 pm. At 11 I got the message others had telling me I either hadn't paid in full or they didn't have the birthdates. Now, I had the confirmation in front of me from the TA showing my final payment was made a few days ago with all the birthdates on it, so I was NOT happy. Out of mad frustration I kept trying over and over, putting in my reservation code and angry hitting the enter key as if hitting my computer harder would make my payment show up. Oddly, after 15 minutes, it all of a sudden let me in to make all my reservatons and worked perfectly! I am SO glad I kept trying!

Anyway we got Palo dinner for Pirate night, which was actually my second choice night, from 6-8! We didn't care about brunch. I also got a massage booked on Castaway Cay for 2 pm, which should be a great time as DH will have the girls back in the room by then for a nap, so I can feel less guily about leaving him with 2 kids while I enjoy my massage! No excursions as with DD 1 and 4 we're playing that by ear, but I did get DD 1 into Flouders. It seems so close now, I'm so excited!

Here's a thought I was having though, with Hurricane Dean just clobbering these island on our itinerary, there could be a chance that we will be going to other ports in November. I think I'll hold off on shore excursion booking for another day or so to see what happens.

Hi! We are also doing the Pirate Encounter and I was able to snag 10:15 a.m. earlier today as well! So, I guess we'll see you on board. I got a spa ressie for 11:45 a.m. on Thursday. That will be good. I have already bought tickets for the Trolley in Key West, so we are doing that on our own as well!

If you want to buy your tickets cheaper, ahead of time, check out wwwdotkeywestdotcom and sort of scroll down til you see sightseeing. Buying the trolley/train tickets ahead of time gives you a small discount. Children under 4 are free.

For those of you doing the Lou Mongello part of the cruise, are you worried about booking any of the excursions for fear it may interfere with that schedule? Just wondering?

If Dean does cause the itinerary to change you won't be charged for excursions booked through DCL so you might not want to wait. What you choose to do may be booked by then. You can cancel and change things booked at anytime before you board.

Nope, but I did write him a short email asking if there was even a vague outline as to what time his activities might be planned for. That way, if something is a surprise, we won't know exactly what it is, but that something is planned for a given time frame. You're right, it would be helpful.

The only other excursion I want to book, but I'm not sure about is on Castaway Cay. I'd hate to mess up anything going on with Mongello group part of the cruise.

Well, i registered dd (8) in the oceaneer club and made reservations for myself and DH for the couples cabana massage on castaway . we are doing the horseback riding on grand cayman on our own since through the ship dd has to be 12 or older, even though she knows how to ride.

After much headache and discussion with Disney I finally was able to get my shore excursions booked. I got everything I wanted except for parasailing on Castaway Cay. I was not able to get Palo.

I did find out (even though I wasn't supposed to) that my DS27 will be joining us on the cruise. The travel agent had arranged with Disney (she said red flags everywhere) that I wasn't to be told that he was going to be on the cruise, and as soon as I was able to sign on guess whose reservation was tied to mine? So I found out 75 days before I should have, but it was the bright point to an otherwise totally rotten day.

Just a heads up, esp to the parents of the kids on the Yahoo group who might not have seen my message...we're leaving in the morning to head toward Oklahoma (I'm a vendor at the Creating Keepsakes Convention this weekend), then we are visiting family for a week before heading to WDW! I'm a vendor at a scrapbook weekend AT the Contemporary (I'm SOOO excited!), then we are staying on a few days for some R&R. I'll be checking in every day if at all possible, but not as often as I usually can, so please tell your "offspring" not to worry, that Jelly-Mom will get the posts moderated as soon as oceanly possible!

Please send us pixies. Over the next month, DDs will be in the car with one another for 7 days. Please send ME pixies. 5 of those 7 days, *I* will also be in the car with my mother, these 2 DDs, PLUS my 19yo, so it could be interesting!
