Thank you for the help and the welcome! We do have 3 rooms, so it's probably best to start a 3rd group. I think my post count is 10 now, so please PM me when you're ready for my info.

For some reason I can't pm you. If you click on my name a box will come up and one of the options is to start a conversation. All I need to know is who is in each room(don't need real names), ages of any kids, room # and an email to send the list to. Optional info is any allergies and favorite characters. If you go back to page 21 I have posted my "rules" for the FE to help you out.

@foursooners, I got the pm to work so I sent you a request for info.
For everyone in the FE groups, if you are ambitious you can sign up for more than one group if you like. Each group will close at 10 and I have not been replacing anyone who drops from a closed group. The last group will close a month before we cruise and I will then open up a latecomers/pixie dust group.

Is Shoreside your travel agent? Do you book excursions through them? We use our travel agent to book the cruise, but we usually just book excursions on our own.

No, sorry it is the shoreside concierge group for DCL. We get to put in our requests on Saturday and they book it for us next week.

Gotcha. That's cool! Both times we've cruised in concierge have been upgrades at the port, so I have no clue what perks there are pre cruising. I guess we'll be boarding together...I think I remwmber you saying that you're planning on getting to the port at opening. What number Disney cruise is this for yall again?

This will be #5. We did DCL once way back in 1999 and then did other cruise lines but came back to Disney in 2014 for a yearly cruise. Now we are on to bucket list cruises like the Panama Canal next year. Maybe cruise Hawaii again and I would love to get back to Europe. I keep thinking about a DCL Norway cruise.
If I remember right the port should open around 10 or 10:30 and we want to be there as early as possible. I am so ready to get this vacation going!

Lunch will be served in the buffet on deck 9(I think) and probably Tiana's. Same food in both but it will get really crowded on the deck with people in the pool and just enjoying being on the ship. Tiana's will be less crowded and more sit down style buffet.

We were supposed to do a Norway cruise last year, but I ended up pregnant... Hawaii, PC did Europe are definitely on my bucket list of cruises!

I think our hotel's first shuttle to port leaves around 8:30, and we'll probably be on it. I can't remember when boarding starts in Galveston. Do you remember?

I'm thinking boarding should start by 11:30. Last year we were on the first cruise after the PC and it was a mess. They were not ready to sail at all and I don't think anybody got to board before 12:30. I hope it goes better this year cause sitting around waiting to board sucks.

You would have to be really picky or have serious food allergies to starve on a cruise The eating starts when you board and goes until debarkation if you want. That is also why people complain they gain weight on a cruise, cause of all the food.

That is so true, although add some trivia to make me feel stupid and my DCL day is complete
Now the wait for Thursday so excursions and such can be booked. We are almost at 125 days!

Can't forget that trivia! Don't worry...it makes me feel stupid too! My husband will most likely be at every Disney music trivia they offer. I'll be there too, but I won't be of much help... On one cruise we felt like we cheated because it was the exact same songs that were played the week before (we were doing back 2 back cruises), so we were able to get the ones we missed the previous week. That being said, we've been known to give away our prizes to the second place team--on one cruise, it was a 10 year old boy by himself--we beat him by two points (he was awesome).
