Anybody here making door signs??


I am doing 3 this time.

I love walking the hall to see all the door decorations

Yes, we have several through the years. I like to stop and look at the doors also. Remember... No tape allowed. The doors are metal so magnets work fine. Make sure nothing on your door has any value - It might not be there in the morning.

I always use the Magnetic sheets. They are so easy to use.

So far I have never had a sign or FE stolen. Hopefully it will stay that way.
Using a zip tie on the FE helps discourage theft for it.

A person can always bring in their sign at night too. I know people who do that since most thefts are at night.

hahaha - I think I left out a few words . . . can't you read minds?

As a bartender, I'm guessing her tips are always in cash - so she might not know. A lot of people like to bring gifts to tip on top of the the money that you give to the main 4 postions (server, assitant server, head server & room host). There is always an argument if the like getting gifts or if they just want more money, or if there is something special that a lot of the cast members like.

I know she loves appreciation, whether it shows in her tips or by someone writing in lovely things about the smiley lass that she is & the service she provides! I do know she was thrilled when a passenger posted her some homemade cookies! She always posts a photo, so I get to see the things said about her & the gifts she gets sent! Makes me smile out loud! X

Just got our details that we'll be joining the November 24th Fantasy Disney Cruise.
We are a family of 4 with two boys aged 3 & 6. Our youngest will be turning 4 the day of our return and we've been granted this trip as his 'wish' now that he's in remission after battling cancer for over a year.

Our family is so excited to do something this fun and it'll be a real joy to see my boys be boys! Looking forward to meeting other families along the way too!

My best friend and I have sailed on the Fantasy before, so I am really excited to show my husband around!

I think we have kind of a later boarding time, but we'll try to make it to the cruise meet if we can!

Many of our DIS group (Janice I'm specifically thinking of you) will be leaving on Friday or Saturday to start their Disney vacations. To all, safe travels and have a great time. See you all at the DIS meet in the Vista Cafe in what seems like just a few days. I've been looking forward to this trip since booking at the beginning of the year. I am anxious to meet the new friends made on this board over the last year. To those of us staying home until next weekend before boarding, hope the week can pass by with no major events taking place to spoil the fun that awaits us.

First cruises are so exciting!!! I still remember our first cruise so well. Better than I remember many that have come since then.
