I just read on the Basics for DIS board --

for cruise meets Lime GREEN ribbons were used, pinned to shirts, or you can tie onto purse/backpack? instead of lei. its a bright color that stands out.
or bracelets. i think orientaltradingco has that. lemme see.

About wearing something to identify each other, on our Magic cruise, someone bought a bunch of blue rubber bracelets (like the Livestrong ones). We paid for them and picked them up at the Meet & Greet and we wore them through the entire cruise so we could always pick out other DIS members. They are awesome because they're uni-sex, waterproof, and reusable. They were printed with our cruise name too so it made a great souvenir. I'm not sure where she ordered them though or if we'd have enough time to do it for our cruise.

I'm thinking about heading to the beach in Cozumel. Has any got any stories about either all inclusive beach clubs: NACHI COCOM Cozumel Beach Break or Cozumel All Inclusive Family Resort or the pay as you go with a minimum spending of $10 per person at Paradise Beach. Can anyone comment on any of these offerings?

I wish I could find in Cozumel something like the Tropicante that most of us are going to in Costa Maya.

This is a great idea. We would be in for 2 (adults).

I saw a comment about kids too. We would not care if kids were added. It may help w/ the kids knowing one another. We would love to hear what others think.

Also I just got my documents yesterday and I am in the Chicago area.

Question is my room changes at the dock who should I notify? We have a handicap room and my Travel Agent said they could change are room if they need to at the last moment. Hoping not but if so who do I contact?

I read somewhere on the DIS boards where someone in an FE had a room change when arriving at the port. They had a list of everyone in the FE, and DCL was able to help them notify everyone in the FE of the room change. The cruiser stated that this really helped them update the FE.

Oh cool! So we are getting kids ones? Or just adult ones? Will we just pay at the meet and greet?

No preference on color.

I would need 2 adult and 1 kid, but if no kid ones, then just 3 adult ones.

Another idea for kids wearing adult ones...put them on their ankles! My company had a party one year and we had these for admittance. The kids just put the big ones on their ankles. Worked great. Now, they weren't swimming and such, so no clue if they would fall off doing all that.

We have reservations at Nachi Cocum for Cozumel. We have read pros/cons on trip advisor,as well as,I've seen reviews on the DIS DCL forums. My husband and I decided to try it. We will have 2 kids (13 and 7) with us. It sounds more towards adults, but we are doin it. We can always leave after a period of time if we feel it does not work.
