November 2020 Sailing... How confident are you in traveling without a covid19 vaccine in place?

We're also booked on a November cruise and IF the cruise is sailing, we're sailing! I'm just not a worrier, by nature. I am taking precautions and staying home as much as possible - my job requires me to go in 2x a week (same for my husband) but other than that, I'm home and my daughter hasn't left the house at all since mid-March - BUT I'm not going to spend my nights losing sleep over it. I could stay home and then slip in the shower and hit my head and die, I could reschedule my cruise for next year and then have the plane I take down there crash and I die, I could right now, as I'm typing, have a brain aneurysm and die. Take precautions, be safe, but at some point, you have to get back to living your life! Otherwise, what is the point?

I saw the same thing about 2021 opening speculation and I have to be honest, I’m worried our trip will be cancelled but I guess it was always a possibility. I’ll just replan as required if it comes to that.

I don’t think it’ll be 2021 myself, I think it’ll be end of July but that doesn’t mean my trip will go ahead either, I expect significant restrictions...maybe even no internationals in parks for some time and that’s even without the cruise complications!

We feel the same way, although I am more of a worrier. hahah Both of our daughters are graduating in May and will be nurses. They will be exposed to so many things day in and day out. I have prepared myself mentally to wear a mask on the airplane and cruise if necessary. I am 58 and could die in a car wreck on the way to work or like you said, the plane could go down. Now, I will say I have never washed and sanitized my hands as much as I have the last few weeks. I don't see that stopping anytime soon, if ever, and believe me, I will be wiping everything down on the plane, hotel and cruise room, not grabbing door handles without wiping hands afterwards. If we get to go, we will have a plan in place for our family and I KNOW Disney will have plans in place.
