**November 2019 check in ***

Anyone else mildly annoyed/frustrated that WOC dining reservations are still not up past Nov. 7. and park hours are only available thru Nov. 11? Looks like you can soon make Thanksgiving dining reservations (I'm SO happy for all of you who are waiting for that!) but guests can't lock in plans for the weeks leading up to that? So backwards.

UPDATE: I mostly post this to commiserate but also, I know Disney reads these board.

Sorry! When I went into the system, I saw Nov. 28 populated. After reading your response, I tired to make a reservation ... and it didn't work. I updated my post to eliminate confusion!

Yeah, just gotta remind myself this isn’t WDW, not used to this slower method of loading dining reservations.

Checking in! DH and I are going to surprise DS13, DDs 11 and 8 with a four day fall break getaway to our favourite place! (Thanks to the Canadian resident ticket)

Staying at the Fairfield Inn Marriott Nov 12-17, which is new to us. I’m a bit nervous because DH likes nice hotels and I am expecting FFI will be pretty basic, but I got a great deal and pitched this as a fun budget trip.

Yup, we are going 11-15 so I am now checking everyday - up to Nov 12 woo-hoo ;)
Waiting for WoC as well, the last minute (a month out it is last minute for a vacation) entertainment calendar is a pain.

I am glad to see Indy is not showing up as under refurb anymore (at least on the 12th). The only thing showing up is Autopia and we are good with that as the only refurb.

So I just figured out I can do the Plaza inn parade dining package for pretty much the whole month of November(except Thanksgiving day) but I can't book Fantasmic or WOC dinner packages for the days I need(a Weds 20th and a Thurs21st) But I can book Friday through Sundays.

It's kind of annoying to have to keep checking every day. Hoping this gets opened up soon!

To be honest I don’t think F! will be shown during the week in those 2 weeks between Veterans Day and thanksgiving... so I doubt that you can view it on weds 20th or thurs 21st... (sorry to bear bad news...)
I was able to book the 30th this morning without issues... (finally 60 days out...yes!)
What I have read here in different threads is that WOC is not loaded any further than the 7th because of the change to the Christmas season...
But as far as I know WOC should be shown daily...

Thank you, thank you. I looked this morning and couldn’t book for the parade. Because of your post I just looked again and was able to book. Now back to stalking WOC....

That will make me very sad....those are our only 2 nights in the park....Friday we leave for the airport after dinner.

But I am hoping this is just a rumor. Until this afternoon the plaza parade viewing package was not bookable and now it is bookable any time after the 8th. So I am hoping Fantasmic and World of Color join the party soon too. Fingers crossed

They have the schedule up for Tuesday, November 12, up today. That's the day after Veterans' Day. And they don't have Fantasmic! on the schedule. So it seems that @B3rlingirl is probably right about weekdays during that stretch.

I'm so excited for my first Disneyland trip 11/14-11/18!! Being WDW girl and used to their MVMCPs I guess I didn't realize DL did Christmas thing during the day! So there's the two parades, the fireworks, WOC overlay...anything else I'm missing??
Haunted Mansion will still be Nightmare Before Christmas and IaSW also has their holiday overlay. DCA has the Festival of Holidays which is like a mini F&W but Christmas themed.

I just checked the Plaza parade package and it has a different menu - is this a holiday menu that will be available for non-package guests as well? When I look at the regular Plaza menu it does not have the items on the package, but it also still has the Halloween cakes so maybe it has not been changed over yet?

With DCA closing at 8pm during the week during the holidays (at least on Nov 12 and 13 when I will be there), does anyone have any idea when WOC runs? I assume at 7pm and there is only one show?

Most table service restaurants appear to be open for booking on Thanksgiving Day. Times are already looking a little sparse for us (party of 6).

Yes. Also, what’s up with Frozen live? The only show I see in November is November 3rd. That’s our first park day, so if we have to fit it in that day it’s going to change how I plan the rest of my days. Our last park day is Nov. 8 - assuming WOC - season of light is showing that night, is it a must see?? We are trying to cram as much holiday stuff as possible into that last day, but not sure if we can pull that one off. We definitely want to see the fireworks that night, but if we see Fantasmic a different night, maybe we can fit in WOC that night too. Plus I will probably want to try ALL the food at festival of holidays :)
