I was curious, it just hit me that magic bands probably come usps...is this right? Our trip is a surprise, and my DS usually gets our mail on his way home from school....I'm guessing the box is not plain...? I'm getting 8 magic bands, will that be 2 boxes? This surprise is getting harder to conceal by the day

Just saw this thread (I'm not usually on this forum). We arrive on November 4. Attending a convention at Marriott World Center 11/4-8. Then our vacation really starts with 7 nights at Orbit One Vacation Villas. We'll be getting APs for the first time in many years as we will be back in January with our daughter and in July for the DIS anniversary meet.

25 days!!! MagicBands came this morning. Guess it's time to start packing!!

Guess that means ours will be in the mail this weekend ...we're at 28 days. Mother/Daughters/Granddaughters trip for us...my Mother's Day gift that I thought would NEVER get here and now we're under a month!

25 days here! We'll be there the 14-20th (week before Thanksgiving.) I have read that the resorts would be decorated "by the day after Thanksgiving," but does anyone know if they might have decorations up earlier? I'm thinking we'd love to see The Grand Floridian and a couple others if so. Thanks!

You should be close; some of the resorts will be decorated, others may not. We arrive at the WL on the 19th; it's my understanding the tree goes up around that time. VERY excited to see DW with all the decorations!

The resorts should all be decorated by mid-November. We went at this time in 2013 and every park and resort had trees up and were all decked out. Gorgeous!!! 19 days

Our MBs have shipped for the first resort! I did not get the e-mail but it gives an estimated date of delivery and tracking # on MDE. We are at 28 days.

We leave a week Thursday for our trip and it always seem the last week or so goes by so slow!!! GAGH! To pass the time we've been watching our favourite Disney movies, eating some Disney inspired food but it's not really helping! I just can't wait to get there!

24 days and it's dragging.....magic bands finally are showing in PA, so they aren't still stuck in Memphis anymore, that is a good thing. They should be here Tuesday. Too early to start packing and it's driving me crazy to not do SOMETHING other than stalk the tracking of the bands.

We received ours the other day, a total of 6, which was 4 in one MB box and 2 in the other MB box. They were both concealed in a brown box and did not say anything about Disney on them. They both arrived in the same box. It was left on our doorstep. My kids have known about the trip and knew they were coming in so naturally they were freaking out when they saw the box. I have spent a lot of time prepping and planning, ADR's and FP's but it was at this moment, during the reveal of those MBs I had a total magical moment... "OMG! We are going to Disneyworld for our first full family vacation!" Tears in my eyes as I watched my kids putting on their MBs with such excitement and thinking about how this is nothing compared to the memories that are sure to come in a few weeks. Yes, my hard work will have paid off!

One week from right this minute I will be on my way to our first ADR - dinner at Trail's End! Can't wait!!!
