November 2015....The countdown begins!!

This is one of the main reasons we are driving. The weather can be so iffy. Shorts in the morning, pants at night. I'm just basically packing for spring, summer, fall and winter. Lol.

Good to know...that was what I was afraid of! LOL

Guess I'll be bringing a little of everything.

We are going Nov 17-23! My husband and I were kids when we were last in WDW and this will be the first trip for my kids!! So excited!!! We are surprising them! Gotta find out a fun way to unveil our surprise!!

Whew! Money has been tight lately. Last week DH asked if we were still going in Nov. I said yes but honestly, I wasn't sure I was going to make the deadline for paying the balance on our package. I've had to do some financial finagling but I managed to pay the balance today.

I can't wait for Nov 19th so we can get our Disney on!!!!!! Now if I could just get FPs for 7DMT....

I'm doing a solo (ish) trip Nov 11-15! I've never done a solo trip before, I used to be a CM so I have plenty of friends in the area and probably won't spend a lot of time alone, but am still somewhat nervous about it! But also excited!

I got both, but not until day 9 of our trip. I did get a mine train on day 6 too. But day 1 there wasn't much at all. Couldn't even get ETWB. We are going 19-28th.

We're there over thanksgiving, I just made fast pass reservations last night. Two in our group leave on day five of our trip and I couldn't get A&E for our group before they left but I did get it on day 7 for 5 of us. I was able to get 7DMT on day 5 for 10 of us without splitting up or staggering times.

Happy with our fast passes & happy with our adr's! (though found out my niece and family will be there a couple days overlapping ours and could use three more on a park fare) Didn't get A & E meet, but have a pre park opening BOG, so shooting over there ASAP. Made some bounder outfits for my granddaughter, packed the new Disney clothes, and just sitting here tapping my foot waiting until November lol. Hope everyone has a wonderfully magical vacation!

OMG I feel like we're bleeding $$ lately Some unexpected medical bills, unexpected car issues, and my Stepsons engagement party is getting a bit out of hand cost-wise. Our final payment for our January trip is due 10/1 (renting points) AND we're going to have to shell out the $$ for DS's AAU basketball team in a couple weeks! I think I need to clean out closets and throw some stuff up on Ebay lol.

I love the idea of a puzzle! I miss the days when my kids were that young and got surprised when we'd go to Disney. Now I ask them too many questions about our trips and even if I DID try keeping a trip a secret, DS13's reaction just wouldn't be the same

I didn't try for A&E but managed to get 7DMT twice; 11/22 and 11/27. That's so weird you couldn't get it since you made your FP's before me. Keep looking!!! Hope you manage to get it and if not, try heading over right at RD or later at night

November 6-11.... I'm so excited!!! Our kids (7,7,2,5mo) have no clue we are going!!!!!!! Any ideas on how and when to surprise them???

have you been before with the kiddos? I have 9(turning 10 on trip), 6, 4, 2, 4mo...and took all when they were 7,4,2,9mo...we gave them a bunch of Disney gifts for Christmas, and a scavenger hunt that morning, ended with a video saying that we're taking them to WDW sometime in the coming year (Feb)...then we woke htem up early at the hotel near the airport, told them there was a package at the front desk...it was a "welcome package from Mickey & friends"...pins to trade (ebay), and lanyards (amazon)...but they were kind of confused since we used a back story about why we were at the hotel :-/
We're going in 2 mo and it's a huge surprise this time too...think we'll just see how long it takes them to figure out where we're flying (no way they don't figure it out by the time our connection to Orlando comes around haha)...and if/when they ask if we're going to WDW, we can play dumb for a sec then say YEP! Right NOW!

I made our FP+ this weekend and was not able to get 7DMT so I guess we will try rope drop. My kids don't know so I am still tossing a few ideas around but I know that the reveal will happen the day before we leave. I'm thinking about putting the ME tags on the luggage to see if they will figure it out.

So we made our FP+ for our designated park days (Nov.28-Dec. 4) and we were able to get everything we wanted each day.

We got mostly everything we were hoping for too! (Nov28-Dec3) A&E is kind of weird being one of the last things (like 5pm on the last park day...odd), I was hoping to do that on our first MK day (2nd park day, a Sundayand MVMCP day so not "as busy" ha)...but oddly our first MK day is all roller coasters!! I'm hoping the standby line for 7dmt won't be awful on our last park day. I'm still holding out the *unrealistic hope that the Jedi Training Academy will reopen like 2 days early, on our DHS day/DS's 10th bday....but overall, just excited to be "done" planning. Which means I'll probably obsess over replanning possibilities

ABSOLUTELY! We opted out of the 4hr line ir A&E last time(was Feb 2014, right after frozen came out) and my kids still say they wish we could have met them.
nasty stomach bug invaded our family that trip too sp we missed out on a LOT, incl JTA.
can't believe it's almost time to say we're going NEXT month!!!
