November 2015....The countdown begins!!

So for those of you who have already decided where to dine - where are you dining? We are for sure doing mickeys Christmas party, and dining at Cinderellas royal table is a MUST have. I was also thinking 1900 park fare with the stepsisters and breakfastasauros and of course our MUST at Ohanas.

I have a 7 year old daughter and 3 year old son.

My main dining objective for Nov. will be figuring out where to eat on Thanksiving:banana:. I've been reading reviews from those who went on Thanksgiving 2014 and so far The Wave looks pretty good! That would be new for us.
We always try to do at least 2 new TS restaurants each trip so when it gets closer to our 180 mark I'll ask the kids for their input. DH and I are eating at 3new places on our March trip (Marakkesh, Yachtsman, Flying Fish) so if we like them, we may go back there in Nov. with the boys. And I'll definitely try to get BOG (again - it would be our 5th time) for dinner :goodvibes

Yay booked for our 10th wedding anniversary (with the 3 kids) Nov Oct 31-Nov 17! Wanting to do MNSSHP and MVMCP. Nervous about securing tickets and hoping for free dining!

Finally settled on our dates: Nov. 14-20 at Boardwalk Villas. Commence happy dancing!

Also, does anyone know if there's a November 2015 planning group on Facebook? I found it very useful to get news in my FB feed when we went in 2013--even were able to leave our left over groceries for a couple arriving the day before we left. Link?

Booked at POR for 11/7-12!! We were booked here before but jumped ship for free dining, so I'm excited to check it out.

We're still thinking about whether or not we need to go to MVMCP or not...

If you & your family are "Christmas people", I highly, highly recommend it. I'm so glad we did this. Seeing it all lit up at night with the decorations, the snow, the parade and the fireworks...totally magical. We really liked the dance parties and special stage shows too. We did manage to squeeze in a few rides with short lines, so that was pretty great.

We're booked & counting down!! We've technically been counting down for more than 700 days, so knowing we are only 310 days out is fantastic! :cool1:

We are a family of 5 staying at ASMu, and joining us will be my SIL & her family of 5, my MIL/FIL, my other SIL & her family of 3, & our niece w/her family of 4. I'm hoping my sister & her bf will be able to drop in for a few days too. We are SO excited to be able to spend this week with each other, watching the kids see everything together!! I'm super stoked! :woohoo:

And yes, I have a binder, planning books, a TA and a general sense of OCD!! But - it's Disney! We're supposed to be crazy!! :rotfl2:

Doing Biergarten for my DH. I hate buffets and brats so hopefully I'll still enjoy myself!
Also Yachtsman, Cali Grill for my bday, Via Napoli because it's my favorite and that's all the ones I for sure want so far

I think we're going to do less TS meals this time around--or at least try! I know for sure we'll do Raglan Road. I think we'll just do Food & Wine for our Epcot day. Not sure about our MK days.

Did you all see the dates for F&W? It's going to run later this year, through 11/16! Woo hoo!

Booked a Nov trip this afternoon. Will be heading down 11/11-11/16. This thread seems busy! I thought that would be a slow week... ;)

This will be my first ever trip to WDW with Christmas decorations up. Hoping to get to MVMCP for sure.

We head down in March for a full week (POFQ), but I am secretly more excited about my shorter Nov trip. Booked a room at POP for now, but may change that depending on a bounceback in March or discounts, etc, etc.

We're going in March and Nov, too :) But Nov. will be our longer trip as March is a quick, 4 night anniversary trip for DH and I  I'm also hoping for a good Bounceback for Nov. when we're there in March!

I'm debating whether I want to do Biergarten for my DH as well. He loves both buffets, and brats too. : ). I was thinking the kids might like the atmosphere too, maybe? There are jus so many good choices in Epcot though. If not there, I do want to try something I havent done before though. I can't decide between Chefs de France, San Angel, or Rose and Crown for Illuminations.

LOVED 1900 PF! : ) We may do it again but I'm trying to try a lot of new places this time.
Cindy's RT, Whispering Canyon, Liberty Tree, Chef Mickey, Garden Grille, 50's Prime Time, TH, are all on my list so far.
I would recommend Crystal Palace and Garden Grille for you. The BEST character interaction! Tigger at CP even got my Autism spectrum/high anxiety boy walking in the restaurant parade!

If we were to go to Mickeys Christmas party, is the whole park open? like do all the rides run? im wondering if we can forego the park entrance admission and just do a night at Magic Kingdom?

For parties, general admission to the parks (like with Magic Your Way tickets) ends at 7pm. You need to buy a ticket to the party to be in the park after 7pm Yes, all rides are running and there are special entertainment options specific to the party.

Party tickets will allow you to enter the park at 4pm, so you could be in MK from 4pm-12am on a party night with just party tickets.

We are booked at BCV from November 25-28! It is a surprise trip for my kids and we are celebrating my son's 14th birthday. We typically go in the summer. What is the weather like during this time of year?

i think we're moving our vacay up to October, itll save us $300! which is more than 1 persons airfare. well, worth it! and this means we can surprise DD for her birthday!

I'm going back!!! Will be the longest trip to Disney I've taken!! November 5-14!!!!! YAY!!!! Staying at POFQ w/ QSDP. :cool1:

For the parties not all attractions and rides are open. You can check on the WDW site when they release party dates and details to know which specific ones won't be open. If you have certain ones you are concerned about missing you can probably get an idea by checking the details from the parties over the last few years or asking on here. Generally they will let you in with party tickets starting about 4pm.
