Is there a reason why everyone wants a BOG dinner? I was just going to try for lunch during our trip. Is the dinner experience that much better or is the lunch difficult to get without a reservation as well.

Besides the reasons mentioned in other responses they also serve alcohol at dinner, only place in magic kingdom to get alcohol, so that may be a reason for some people. We love the dinner there. Lunch and dinner are two totally different menus (except for dessert) and experiences though.

Sorry! Keep trying for that dinner. It took me months of trying multiple times a day to finally get the reservation I wanted but its possible! Good luck!

Us too! We had ADRs for 6 but now my husbands grandparents have decided to join us to celebrate their 85th & 80th birthdays so now we need for 8!! I'm excited their joining us but now I'm all stressed out about plans hahaha

I just canceled a reissie for the Luau on 11/21 at 5:15 cat. 1, 2 adults 2 kids, if anyone is looking. We will be going to MVMCP and don't want to get there late. Gave the kids the choice, they decided they'd rather have Chef Mickey that evening instead, so that's what we're doing!
