I'm actually on the phone with Disney now. I actually saw the 8:30 pop up, I clicked it and I got a bid Donald Duck telling me the "servers are busy now". They are looking now to see if it picked it up under my name.

I've been in the same situation... very depressing... I got the same Server Busy, then had to sign in all over again... i'll keep trying a little longer.

I didn't get it :-(. But thank you so much for trying. I was so excited that I actually saw 8:30 pop up as open on my screen....And then I got the Servers Busy screen.
The reservation agent on the phone was no help either. I honestly don't know how people do this??? This is the 4th time that I somehow didn't get a reservation that someone was canceling at the same time. These thing literally go in seconds!

I just tried securing a reservation a 1/2 hr ago, it was not known to others, I wonder if there's a bot out there somewhere getting these... i know, probably not the case...but again, just totally depressing.

I hear you guys there, I have tried to coordinate two separate BOG reservations I had to cancel with people on the forum and both were failed attempts. Very frustrating. I really wanted a DISer to get them too, cause I know how hard we try.

I've found it to be about 50/50, although it seems I am in the minority with you because I don't see a ton of others complaining about not getting cancelled ADR's either.
I've really come to dislike poor Donald Duck... through no fault of his own.

Just cancelled Nov 15th 1900 Park Fare at 9:00 AM so I could get CRT (thanks Xipotec). Also, I will be cancelling Chef Mickey Nov 15th at 8:55 PM. let me know if anyone is interested

Ok, i was still checking for the reservation that i ended up getting a "server busy" on, and a little after an hour...1.25 hrs... the reservation showed up!

Just sending this for others that may see the same situation! I could be wrong, but it's worth checking out.

I've had the same thing happen on two different reservations today. One was about an hour and the other I'm not sure, I didn't check back for a couple hours-but it was there when I did!

I got to spread pixie dust today. I had an extra CRT and was able to give to a fellow DIS'Er !!! You can coordinate a cancellation with a reservation! It works!!!
