Good Evening Everyone, and TGIF!! :cool1::cool1:

I had a busy day with work, but alas I'm finally done and now the weekend's here! Yay!! Monday my daughter Rachel who is 15 is traveling down by herself to see her sister in Pensacola. We are driving her to BWI and will obtain a gate ticket so we can assure she gets on the right flight. She changes planes in Atlanta- she has traveled alot and knows the ATL airport very well. She is a mature and seasoned traveler but I am still really nervous about it. When she flys back my daughter will be with her as they are flying back together- so really its just one way down. I am hoping all goes well. My daughter Sarah is meeting her in Pensacola at the gate. She is so excited to see her sister as she only gets to see her a few times a year. I miss her alot too and am looking forward to having her come home for a few weeks. We are going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for a week when they get home- and we're looking forward to that. After that, its saving for our next trip to WDW!! We can't wait.

I totally understand your being nervous. But thank goodness we live in the cell phone age. Makes it a lot easier keeping tabs on them. I hope your girls have a great time.:goodvibes

We'll be at Pop from Nov 27 to Dec 5 with free dining! I'm hoping to do MVMCP (possibly on Nov 29th), and the Candlelight Processional. Depending on what happens with the dates that are still TBA, I think my uncle will want to see Whoopi.

Welcome!

Make a few more adrs.- we skip free dining and do late lunch. Was hoping Be our Guest rest.would be open.

I'm sorry about your family illness :( And don't give your hopes up on BOG! It might be open!

I know Planet Hollywood isn't unique to Disney, but I'm surprised that I haven't seen a SINGLE person say they are going there. Is it subpar food and service? My hubby is a huge Hard Rock fan and I thought this would be along the same lines.

I went to Planet Hollywood last year and I wasn't a big fan. The food was just alright and our waiter wasn't good. I wouldn't recommend it.

I have a question regarding the photopass +. Is the expense worth it. THis is going to be a very special trip for us and I would love to have some great family pictures to have but just not sure if its really worth the $169 price tag. What exactly do you get and how does it work in the parks and at character dining where they take photos. Do you present the card ??? I just need some more information about it for those who have done it in past. Thanks alot

Ths is what I have read. When you get off of the ride, go to where you claim your photo and had over the pp+card that you were given. It has to be that card not a reg pp one. if you split up, get your ride photo # and then the person with the PP+ card has to come back to that ride within 24hrs to claim the photo.
At meals. present the card and the person that comes around to sell them will hand you the photopacket PLUS you get the digital copies on the card :thumbsup2 Im excited to do this! I cant wait! I already bought it and have it!

I think its worth it depending on 2 things 1. will you ride most of the rides? Us-yes maybe 2 or3x
and 2. are you eating at most of the meals? Us-yes all but HDDR and spirit of aloha. When a character meal photo is $30-40 per restaurant and a ride photo is $10+ its sooooo worth it for the extra $70 above the regular one if you only go to 2 meals!

We have eaten at Planet Hollywood all 3 times that we have been at WDW and loved it! I guess to each his own;) We have been thinking about doing T-Rex this time instead.. Our 2yr old loves dinosaurs so we think he would love it!:goodvibes

We did the photopass the past two years. The first year, 75% of the photos were not even on the disc so they refunded my money. Last year, all of the photos were on there. Going up $70 is a deal breaker for me. That being said, we have to rider swap for most of the big rides due to my youngest not being able to ride most of them. We are thankfully past the stage of all of the character meals (don't shoot me but the food is just not that good). If you are going to do alot of character meals and be able to ride the rides as a family, I say it is worth it. I just sold our older DSLR and will be buying a new hybrid camera so that $170 is going towards it! Enjoy your trip, I am literally counting down the days!!!!

yes I use them too! I love them especially for the first 2-3 hours. We used the dumbo or die plan at MK during a level 10 day and it worked like a charm.

we had a Disney family movie night tonight. It was so fun. We watched Lady and the Tramp. We decorated and made signs for tonys, had spaghetti and meatballs. The kids loved it so much and they got so excited when they saw Tonys on the movie...sooo now that I have all my ADRs set, I'm kinda wanting to drop one for Tony's ....how silly is that?

Ok - let's talk touring plans!!

I've picked my park days and made my ADRs accordingly - now it's time to play the parks hardcore! Do you guys all do an actual touring plan? Do you do a schedule? Do you use a set plan from touring plans.com or modify one? Care to share yours? Want me to keep asking questions? :rotfl:

I have nothing to share, I need to copy!!:rotfl2: I modified some touring plans b/c I have a child who has very specific ideas about what she will and will not do which is good b/c as long as we avoid scary (to her) we will all be happy!:rotfl:

But please keep asking questions, maybe someone with answers will hear you!:lmao:

They cant send me a confirmation email :( but another person confirmed it so I guess it went through. Id hate to cancel just to get it again....cuz what if I cant get it!

Can you just add the number on the my vacation site? I printed all mine out from there.

Good morning. :goodvibes

Have any of you started making any mousekeeping or tip envelopes yet? I guess that is what will be next on my list.

I already have them saved to my stick. I just have to print them out.:thumbsup2
