I'm getting bummed out! We JUST decided to go Nov 2 through Nov 8 and we just finalized which park which day...and I can't find any dining reservations! I don't have the dining plan so not committed to eating in the parks all the time but I can't find any of the "fun" places I've read about: Ohana, Chef Mickey's, Sci Fi, on any day we're there much less on the one I've planned it on.

I posted on the dining thread for tips but my Disney excitement has waned in only four days! What are some other "late planners" doing for dining? I didn't even get the dining plan....how are you finding meal after meal?
We are going Nov 1-6 and the other day I was trying to rebook a few ADR's b/c our party number could be changing and I was able to find Sci Fi and Crystal Palace but at off hours...for example a 3:40pm or 4pm dinner rather than a 6pm. So keep trying and being flexible timewise is key.

Okay everyone, what do think are the chances we'll need a fourth edition of this thread before we get to Disney??? I say...OF COURSE, YES!!
I say within the next month. :lmao:

I don't know if long trips always mean good things. Even without kids. This trip is 9 nights/10 days. We normally do 6 to 7 days. So this is a first for us. I guess we will see how it goes. :confused3

Ythis is our longest trip at 8days/7 nights so I dont know if we will survive yet either!
Last year, our whole trip including Seaworld was 11 nights/12 days. By the end of it, we were really tired and agreed that was too long but I think 9 nts/10 days is fine especially if you plan on a couple break/rest days in between.

speaking of runnin into each other who is goin when i am

nov 4-11th.

We're going 1st to 7th. Staying at AoA LM section

We are going Nov 1-6 also staying at AoA LM rooms. It would be cool if we had something to identify each other by.

we will be there from the 4th to the 11th in lm suites, i was thinking about putting a magnet on our door :)

We are going Nov 3-11. This will be OUR longest trip too. First 2 trips were 6 nights and this time my 2 DDs and I are staying 8 nights! (DH will join us for the usual 6 nights on Monday) I have NO worries that it will be too long! So excited!!

Please add us to your November 2012 list. We are flying in 11/10 and leaving 11/19 and we will be staying at our timeshare off property. I love seeing everyone's suggestions and tips. Thank you.

I will have my LGMH (saved from last tear) on my purse. And maybe I'll put one on the window, too. How mane LM rooms are there, anyway? Sound like most of the occupants in early November are in this group. As a general rule, just greet everyone you meet there because you've probably talked to them here.

thats a good idea. i think i will cut a big lime green mickey head out of construction paper and put it in the window.

We had to do a room only for Sunday night because no AAA rooms were available. Our AAA rates start on Monday. so we have to check out on monday morning and then check back in. No biggie since we do not have free dining, but has anyone done this before? Will we be able to keep same room? :confused3
