NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Thread~ Everybody is Welcome~Part 3 already!

Can't believe I am just seeing this thread! We are 4 people, myself, my brother and his twins who will be celebrating their 6th birthday while we are there! Staying at AOA, Nemo Suite, Nov. 10-17. First trip for the 3 of them, so I am the official tour guide. Can't wait! Plan so far:

Nov. 10-Arrive, play at the resort, bus to DTD for dinner at T-Rex. Home for early bedtime.

Nov. 11- HS, with dinner at Sci-Fi

Nov. 12- MK, with a monorail ride for dinner at 1900 Park Fare.

Nov. 13- Blizzard Beach- then to MK just for dinner at Liberty Tree, and MSEP and Wishes (they don't have them on our MK day.

Nov. 14- Epcot- dinner at Coral Reef. Doubt the kids will make Illuminations. Maybe next trip.

Nov. 15- AK, with breakfast at Donald's Safari, and an early dinner at BOMA

Nov. 16- Repeat whatever park the kids want to. Then, 4:00 Hoop-Dee-Do for our final evening.

Nov. 17. Magical Express pickup at 9:00 AM.


Does anyone see anything glaringly wrong with these plans?? It always helps to have fresh eyes! Thanks!

Any club level vets over here?

I need help making a quick decision: Poly Lagoon View Club level versus Poly Garden View. Is it worth $1,000 more? I've been wanting to upgrade to Club Level and have been stalking CRO for availability. I was hoping for GV CL, but there is ONE club level room available under my code and it's lagoon view.

Never done it, but sounds great. Not sure it would be worth it to US, but it does sound really nice.....

Oh my! This is such a fast moving thread. I was gone all day today and had to catch up on almost 10 pages. But this is the best thread on here with so much great information and advice. I have learned so much for this trip from these boards and it's our 3rd trip.

But... what is earliest the check in you have been granted. Does everyone go by 3:00? Or is their and inside secret I can be made aware of?

Last year, we were able to check into our room at 8am. I didn't expect it as we had planned to drop off our bags and head to MK when the CM informed us that our room is ready.

That is soooo cool!! Do you wear yours to WDW? Have you met many people that way? I'm thinking of doing it but I was just curious as to what kind of response you have received?

I was thinking of hanging one on my bag or something. I didn't know about it my first two trips so I'm not sure what kind of reactions I would get if any.

Hi y'all! Hope everyone is having fun with their Disney planning. This board had been moving too fast for me to keep up!!

I wanted to share something sweet my DH did yesterday. He is not into the Disney planning thing, and probably wouldn't even go to Disney if it weren't for me and the kids, but yesterday he called to let me know about the Disney Dining Blog with the BOG details. He didn't want me to miss it.

AWWWW that is so sweet. My DH isn't the biggest Disney fan either, but when he hears stuff he does tell me...which makes me happy.

I was thinking the same thing. Kind of a shame to wash it out so soon.

Okay I was thinking about it all day. I wasn't planning on any DTD time, but...

If I leave the GF at noon will I have enough time to go to DTD and be back at Chef Mickey's by 545. I have no idea truly how long travel time from place to place will be, is it doable? We would probably only go to the big Disney store and the scrapbook store and walk around a bit. What do you think?

Thanks! I really hope we get a soft opening early November as TT is our favorite ride at Epcot! I'm not too crazy about Soarin b/c it makes me a bit dizzy but I will go on TT all day if I could.

Is it worth buying the 2013 passporter book for the updated info before our Nov trip. Our next one won't be until early 2014. Anyone else planning on getting new tour books?

I totally got bummed out because I leave on the 28th and TOTALLY forgot about a soft opening for Test Track! Awesome!

I think you're right, but I have a cricut machine and a couple of Disney cartridges. I would be happy to make something cute with our names on them. I will post pics when I get something done and see if you want me to make you one, then maybe we can find each other.

And if you really want the same color, Home Depot still has Behr paint chips in Lime Green just not the mickey shape. I was thinking of making some too b/c I only have the one and well I always need more than one

Of course you need more than one! How could you not? Actually I wore one on my bag a couple of trips ago and at some point it must have ripped off. I had it laminated and attached with a metal ring like a key chain. Need to come up with something better this time.

My DH and I did keys to the kingdom once on one of our adults only trips. We enjoyed it very much. You can't go unless you're 16, they don't want to spoil the magic for anyone younger. We definitely rode HM too. And our lunch was also at Harbour House.

Our schedule is soooo similar!!! We will be there the same exact dates. Heading to downtown Dsney the first day too. We will be at the same parks everyday except the 13th and 15th. And we are doing the hoop dee doo on the Friday too! So I don't see anything wrong with your plans because that would mean mine are wrong too Can't wait
