Can we talk about strollers for a bit? Younger DS will turn 5 a week after our trip and even though he hasn't used a stroller when we're home for over a year, I think he will definitely need one at DW. He does get tired after a couple hours of walking and since he's a big 4 yr old, we can't really carry him anymore. Last year on our trip we rented a City Mini from Magic Strollers and it was great but today we happend to be at BRU so I had him sit in a City Mini and it seemed a bit small for him. Is the newer version much bigger?

I was actually considering buying one rather than renting b/c we have our trip in Nov this year, hopefully a trip next August and I am hoping to book a surprise Christmas trip to DisneyLand. I'm just not sure if he will still want to use it next year at 5 1/2 and also thinking of the trouble of taking it through airport security and all that.

What do you guys think?

We have a quinny zapp. It's smaller and lighter, and the only stroller they will allow in cabin on the airplane. Our DD is 2 almost 3, and we still have to have one. It is super light, and can push it with a finger. It doesn't recline, but DD doesn't care she sleeps in it pretty easily.

Good Morning! I feel like working on bows today but I have to get a list together of what outfits I have so I can make bows..... I know I need one more MVMCP one. I to look at maybe renting a locker at AK due to having our MVMCP stuff for that night too:/ who thought of this trip ?!?!? LOL

Ive been thinking about the stroller I will take and how I can fit things underneath...now that I have my plan I have to figure these things out! Im a worrier LOL

DH and I figured out our back up plan if the school doesn't repay us in time. Hopefully Disney puts a discount out for February, but if not we will do what we did in April. We rented a house in town. We can't afford to stay at Disney without a discount. It was a $1500 difference. Doesn't help DD will be 3 if we go in February. The house with tickets and food would be about the same cost as the trip in November.. Don't get me wrong renting a 4bedroom townhouse is great, but I've never stayed at Disney. Until the money gets here I will be on pins and needles *fingers, crossed*

pixie dust for you! School wont let you pay half now and half later OR you can pay a little at a time to get the balance down? I dont know your financial situation but trying to offer suggestions!:upsidedow

The school requires full payment by August 9th for fall semester which starts August 21. It's very different from the universities I went to. It was due shortly after the semester started. This community college is the most disorganized school. Last 2 semesters teachers dropped him from online classes for no reason. Eventually the dean called one of the professors and asked why he was dropped. Answer i didnt know i dropped him. I'm really glad I never had these issues. I hate taking money out of our savings, and $4500 is a gigantic chunk. Eventually once the school gets their issues fixed, and get with the VA we will be refunded.

DS5 will definitely be riding in a stroller in November, and he will have just turned 6. We bought a Maclaren Volo a few years ago and it has been wonderful. Folds up like an umbroller, but the comfort and storage space of a regular stroller, with a carrying strap. I think it's designed for up to 55 lbs. Seems to be the most popular stroller at Disney; have to mark it well to not grab the wrong one.

I have a question for ya'll......Would you still enjoy 1900 Park Fare even if you did not have children with you?

I am trying it for the first time in November, after watching the various videos of how the sisters react to proposals. DH and I don't have any children, except our four legged furry ones. I am excited to try it. I think it will be so much fun!

My DD and I ate there back in 2006 on her college road trip- hard to believe now she has graduated, but the food was very good- IMO better than the other character meals- we had dinner there. The characters of course made the overall experience even more fabulous! I think you will love it! :thumbsup2

I think I'm going to propose to the sisters that we be fiends and give them t friendship ring. DH doesn't really get into those kind of things!

I wil have 3! I think I am going to pring those ziploc bas(the XL ones) and try that... I wonder what
other ppl do? Maybe Ill ask on Fb. cuz that is a good question.

Last year I found a travel Space Bag at the Dollar Tree store and it worked great for my daughter's dress. I could roll all the air out and then it would be flat...then I could fold it or roll it and stick it in my backpack! Dress always came out looking great:)
