I'm now thinking of getting a VB hipster. I also like the lime's up pattern. Where would I find them at the mall? Do you know which stores sell them?

Thanks!

You can go online to verabradley.com and they have a store locator. Hallmark and Mori Luggage sell them by me.

I have the mini one and its really way to small for what I would like to carry in it. I see they have the larger ones which would actually be perfect. We have a store right in downtown Berlin that carries all VB stuff. I will have to go look there to see if its something I would like. I have so many VB purses and such and I just love them. I guess its my one sinful hobby. Some women its shoes for me its VB purses and accessories.

I love my hipster Or should I say hipsters. :rotfl2: I only carry VB. I take the hipster or the backpack when we go to WDW.

Another VB fan here! I get great deals on verabradley.com! Be sure to sign up for their emails and "like" them on Facebook. Ebay is another great place. I never pay full retail price!

I just got a Lizzy! It's a small "fanny-pack" size. It will be perfect for my mother/daughter trip since we won't have a bunch of extra stuff to carry.

I also got a backpack, but not convinced that I like it yet! It's tiny and my kids told me it looks like a toddler backpack...lol!

I use the laptop backpack. The regular one is so tiny.

This will actually be my very first one and I like the size of the hipster. I normally don't carry a whole lot in the parks. My DH carries the DSLR camera in a backpack specific for the camera and we hang a soft side cooler with a few water bottles on the stoller.

Some of the designs are so pretty, it's really hard to pick just one. But I'm leaning towards lime's up.

Hi everyone! I have been trying to catch up on this thread but I have only made it to page 119!

We are trying to plan a trip arriving on November 11th through the 16th.

I have started calling to see if we have FD but only for Mods & Deluxe resorts. We really want to stat at Allstar Movies.

Already started to look at ADRs and have my listed started.

This trip would be to celebrate my DD's 6th birthday. princess:

I am going to send a FB friend request, could you please add me to the November group as well?

Going to go back and try to finish catching up! As soon as we confirm our plans I will let you all know! Please send pixiedust: our way for FD.

All we've been told so far is Holidays. That could mean Thanksgiving most likely, which means probably soft openings in early November. But no solid dates or guarantees and probably won't be. Currently the Storybook Circus area is half open- with one of the Dumbos (the new one) open and the new Barnstormer and new Fantasyland train station and bathrooms. The second Dumbo, interactive queue tent with playground inside, Casey Jr. water play area and more should be opening in July. You can see a video of the cool new queue here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StXRHVpTYZ4&feature=related
Parents can relax on benches in the AC while kids play on the circus themed playground areas. There are a few more tents in Storybook Circus that we haven't heard much on, but assuming those might be open in July too. We expect at least one to be a gift shop and the other has rumors flying around it might be a place to recharge your phones/electronics with charging stations etc. I guess we will see.

Then opening "before the holidays" in 2012, is Under the Sea- Journey of the Little Mermaid ride, and all of the B&B area- Be Our Guest restaurant, the gift shops, Gaston's tavern and enchanted tales with Belle (new meet and greet featuring cool effects). We can assume before the holidays means Thanksgiving......but we can't be sure. I am hopeful though and if Thanksgiving is their goal, hoping for a soft opening in early/mid November.

The new princess fairytale hall that is replacing the snow white ride/building will be open in late 2013 and will feature some cool new ways to do a meet and greet.

The Seven dwarfs mine train is in 2014.

There is still a ton of construction though. they are also building a castle wall around that area, some of which you can already see near Pinnochio's Village Haus.

There is also construction over behind Haunted Mansion- the pet cemetary is gone for now. They are building a Rapunzel tower (rumored meet and greet for her) and bathrooms, plus a new walkway from fantasyland over to HM area.

Of course there is the tent still over the bakery, hoping some of those come down soon! They've been up there for months now. The buildings on Main St should look fantastic when all done!

Here are some great links on the expansion:

Thank you so much for the info! I was wondering what would be open when we arrive November 10th. I wonder what the height req. is for Barnstormer? Also, I *REALLY* wish we knew when Belles place would be open so we could make reservations in time with our dining plan!

Do any of the characters have different outfits at Christmas time? I don't plan on going to MVMCP...I'm talking about during regular park hours?

Maybe closer to the holidays, like Donald and his Tree Lot, where he was in a flannel shirt and scarf, but in November, I think Holiday Themed characters are only during MVMCP

When we were there mid November in '10, the characters at Camp Minnie/Mickey were all in holiday gear.

Thanks, I will check it out.

VB is awesome. I have alot of different items (duffel, tablet sleeve, tech case, squared away purse) but my alltime fav for traveling is the hanging organizer :thumbsup2 It is wonderful for bathroom items and has a hanger type loop at the top that you can hang from a closet type rod to free up counter space.

I'm so sorry I didn't get on here yesterday, but you got lots of good VB advice! I got mine at Hallmark. I've also gotten them at Mori Luggage and Gifts before

I got mine at Mall of GA!

I've been very good at avoiding VB for the past few years, but when I saw the Lime's Up pattern, and then saw it in person, it was no use resisting! :rotfl: I DID manage to resist a wallet and checkbook cover to match! Probably only because the Hipster is smaller than my usual Betsy, though! BTW, have they phased out the Betsys?

I've always thought those backpacks were so cute!

 I just decided to do HDDR!!!! Im excited!

Yay!

Hmm, maybe I need one of THOSE, too!;)

About how long does it take to eat at CP in the morning? I can't get an ADR until 8:45 and I'm worried I'll miss all the short lines for rope drop. Will we get out with enough time before the crowds arrive?

Welcome to all the newcomers!!!

Wooohooo! We are going to be VB packing group! Anytime I see someone with a VB bag, I'm going to ask if they DIS?!:rotfl:

 I just decided to do HDDR!!!! Im excited!

Me too! I wasn't willing to give up any of my other ADRs so I used one of the two nights I left open for BOG. Now I just have to cross my fingers that I get BOG on the night I want...AND that it opens in time! :wizard:

Now I just have to decide whether I'm keeping this trip a secret from the boy until we start our drive, or until we get there, or whether I spill the beans and ratchet up the excitement for the next four months! LOL

We are telling DD and DS the day before we leave or the morning we leave.

Success! Called again this morning to check on a FD pin and there it was. Got it applied to my reservation. Travel dates are November 15 through the 22nd.

Hmmm...the last time I called I may have mentioned that I wasn't going unless I could get the FD pin. :rolleyes1

A good suggestion for anyone still trying to get FD! :thumbsup2

I got MY first VB Hipster at the mall on Friday. It's a little smaller than my other bag, but I think it will work. I just love the Lime's Up pattern. Once I saw it in person, I knew I couldn't resist! I've only had VB Betsy's before, so as a purse it may take getting used to.... I'm so glad you like yours, too. Wish MY DD wanted one. She actually found one she liked a bit, I was going to get it and she changed her mind. Said she'd never use it. I have hoped for so long for her to start liking VB, but she just doesn't...

Well, since DD informed me she has outgrown dolls and doesn't want to go to the American Girl store in Dallas for her birthday next month, I think I'm going to get her a VB mini-hipster.

Too bad VB doesn't come out with any Disney-themed bags! I have one of the D&B Disney bags, but I just don't like it as well as VB bags....

Ugh, WHY do they have to grow up???? How old is your DD turning again? I'm sorry about the AG trip. I know you were looking forward to that. At least YOUR DD likes VB!:thumbsup2
