Does anyone happen to know exactly what will be open in the new Fantsyland in early November? What about the restaurant with Belle? I understand that will take 2 table service credits to go to. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Okay...the castle lighting ceremony is at 6 only on non party nights?

I was planning on going on a party night, but not going to the party.

the castle lighting ceremony is later than 6 on party nights because wishes is at 9 on party nights

I was planning on going on a party night, but not going to the party.

The castle lights are turned on at the same time every single night, around 6-6:15pm. Wishes is the only thing that isn't every night when the parties are going on.

I've 'heard' that Be Our Guest will be counter service for lunch, and table service(1 credit) for dinner. No word on opening dates, just 'in time for the holidays' according to Disney.

need some input. I have scheduled Ohanas breakfast(our only adr on a MK day) and then a Crystal Palace breakfast(only adr on our departure day) at MK.. The Ohana is 805 adn the CP is at 1030. If I switch them, I can have CP with a 840 ressie to see main st almost empty. Should I switch them?

Yes I would. It's pretty cool walking down main street before the park is open!

YES! It's one of those things everyone should experience at least once :thumbsup2 We do at least one ADR before the parks open each trip. CP we do nearly every time! This trip we're doing it our last morning at 8:05am, can't wait :woohoo:

Our best lost luggage story is the time Airtran lost our pack n play. They NEVER found it. Weeks later, I was on the phone with their lost luggage center, and they guy was looking sround the warehouse for it. He says, "You said it was green?" "Yep," I said. "Well, I've got a brown one here. Do you want IT?" "NO!!! I want my OWN pack n play!!!" CRAZY!!!:scared1:
Oh my!!!!

I decided not to book the Fantasmic! package since we don't like H&V and no one wants to eat at MM. But we will be there the first week of November which shouldn't be too bad. Last year at the end of August we were able to just walk in and got really good seats in the center towards the top so we could see everything and also get out quickly when it was over.
We are not booking the F! package either. I was considering MM but decided against it. I think DS may be afraid of F!. DD and I have already seen it so if we can fit it in and think DS will be ok we will do it. If not, oh well I guess.

Totally OT, but we are going to see Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney in concert on the 16th and I am so freakin excited!!!!!

It's definitely worth an early ADR to walk down an empty Main St. I'd book CP again just for that.

My sis and her significant other are meeting us at WDW. Today I got her reservation info and linked her ressie to mine. That got them FD also. Now I can't get them to answer the phone so I can share the good news.:banana::banana:

I was planning on going on a party night, but not going to the party.

I remember researching this and wrote it all down so I didn't forget.
I do believe the Castle Dream Lights Ceremony is around 6:15 (Every night)
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade 8:15 & 10:30 (MVMCP)
The Magic, The Memories & You Castle Show 9:10 (MVMCP)
Holiday Wishes 9:30 (MVMCP)

Which night are you doing it? It seems its only held 2 nights while we are there and NOT on an MVMCP niht which Im mad about! :headache:

So you PREFER todo the DP on a MVMCP night? Why? I was leaning toward thinking it would be better on a non-party night, but not sure why either....:confused3

The castle lights are the best!!! I have a picture of that from our last trip as my background on both my home and work computers.

I would think that would be alot of party time wasted when you can view the fireworks from other areas. PLUS after paying the almost $60 p/p for the party you are going to be paying another $25+p/p for the DP. JMHO

Getting excited!:yay: Lots of decisions made lately. (I am an over-thinker who has trouble making decisions.) I finally decided on our beach location for after Disney. We will be spending 11 nights in Disney and 3 nights in St. Pete Beach.:beach: After much searching and playing with codes I found a fabulous hotel deal as well as car rental for those last 3 1/2 days. We will be on the beach over Thanksgiving (away from all the craziness that will be in the parks by then.) Looking forward to finding a nice spot for Thanksgiving dinner on the beach!

Booked my return flight and now am waiting for my SW reward points to post so I can book 4 free departing flights!

I also finally decided that I WILL be running the Disney Wine and Dine 1/2 marathon on 11/10!:Pinkbounc I just ran a half in March and did pretty well considering it had been a few years. It will be the first half I run and train for by myself but am really looking forward to running through 3 of Disney's theme parks at night.

The only reason I said taht is because it would fit better in my schedule. BUT since I have to rearrange my schedule to fit it, its worth it to walk down an empty Main st too

I saw them on Sunday in Atlanta. It was hands down the best concert ever. Still trying to recover from my lack of sleep. I know you will have a great time.

Yes, I would. I would get there around 8 - 8:10. This will give you 30 minutes or so to walk down Main Street, take pictures, etc. We have pictures of us in front of the castle with NO ONE else in the picture. Totally worth it!!

So excited for you! :yay: I'm planning to do the Princess Half Marathon in February. It will be my first ever! I wanted to do the F&W, but I want the PHM to be my 1st and we arrival date which is the 11th can't be moved up. I can't wait to hear about it!! :wizard:

When I talked to a CM, he said "holidays" to Disney starts with Halloween. Not sure if that is true, but my totally uneducated guess is the holidays start with the 1st MVMCP. Like I said, that just my guess. I'm not even sure Disney really knows! :confused3
