Received my weekly Allears Newsletter and it states that the F&WF has been extended by one day and will now end on Nov 12 (Veterans Day). Not something I was planning to attend but thought I would pass along the info for those of you going that week and planning to visit Epcot on Monday.

We are planning to go to Epcot on our arrival day, the 11th. We decided that even though it will be really crowded, we wanted to experience Food & Wine. DH is kind of excited about it.

It seems like everyone is getting FD. I'm happy for all of you, but so sad myself since I don't have it. It's been such a rotten week or so that I need something to cheer me up.

Hang in there and DO NOT GIVE UP!

Congrats to all of you who have gotten free dining! I wish I had your luck with getting pins I hope a public offer gets released so I can stop obsessively checking my email and calling!

So I tried to call mom and tell her about how I got CRT and TH prerope drop.... she didnt seem happy and then I sid I couldnt get Coral Reef so I booked Teppan Edo and she voiced her opinion! How she doesnt want to eat there and the kids will be scared blah blah blah. Now question: should I change it? Keep it? Or cancel it? IDK what to do.

You will never please everyone. Just do what you can. If CR is booked, the go somewhere else. I think the kids will enjoy Teppan Edo. We are trying it for the first time.

So DH called and had an actual FD pin in his name! That CM said she could only apply it to the days it was offered until the 29th and that it wouldn't apply through our whole reservation. Of course I knew that wasn't true so he got the pin number from her. I called back and got a new CM who at first said she didn't see anything but I told her exactly what the first one said the offer was for even gave her the pin number the first one gave DH. Still couldn't find it. Luckily she kept looking and found it applied and it to our whole stay with check in day 11/23! Had trouble making the room only for 11/22 but she was finally able to pull up a LM room. Woohoo!

I really think I just called so much it magically appeared!

Thank you very nice CMs. It took two different CMs but they got it done!

Still no pin. I've called every day this past week and am starting to get paranoid that I'm going to get us on a pain-in-the-butt-don't-give-these-people-free-dining list.

So do you actually have to book and then apply the code to the reservation? Is that when the emails magically appear? I've saved the trip on Disney.com over and over again. I've been waiting for a discount for our upcoming 11/24-12/2 vacation to book.
I'd like a PM too. Never stayed onsite & really need a discount of some kind.

I booked, then called. But you could try telling them you book as soon as you have free dining, but can't come without it. Good luck!!

LOL We have eaten at CR before I liked it and so did the kids....but of course they are being held for CP Any other Epcot recomendations?

I'm not a huge fan of British food in general, but I really like the rose and crown. I think it might be slightly Americanized for our palates on this side of the pond. . I ordered cottage pie and my husband had fish and chips. Both were good and served by a very charming welsh college student, who loved talking about his home.

I've been calling frequently also, and today I got a CM who asked if if I was "hoping for the free dining so many people are getting." . She then found no pin, but told me to keep a lookout for July when new promos would be released for November. So, keep hope alive! If you feel Andy about waiting you can always book a room only, and wait for a fd/discount, then cancel if needed.

So now i'm online trying to make my ADR's (today's the first day!). It asks me to associate my hotel reservation. When i plug in my res. number and arrival date, it says it can't link my resort reservations with dining reservations.

Am i missing something???

Just completed my ADR's online. I was able to get everything within 20 mins of the times I wanted....except a Coral Reef lunch. There was nothing available. I'm guessing that's because of CP.

We don't want to book a CP lunch/dinner so I am hoping that they release some tables soon. That is the restaurant that my boyfriend won't stop talking about!

I am going to chalk this morning up to a win though, I am so happy that I was able to book online instead of waiting another hour to call. That being said, there is no way I am getting back to sleep now!! Have a great day everyone

YAY! Im glad you got everything you wanted! I had to wait to call but it was ok...the CM did great and I got everything within 5 or 10 min and even a pre-park Tusker House opening for 11ppl...that is a rare find! I dont know if not alot of ppl are booked when we go OR they are eating at diff places OR the cc thing is making some ppl not want to book ADr's..... I dont mind though

Wow! That's awesome...11 people, what a daunting task We're going to Tusker house too. I decided to try 10:05 so we can do a few things before breakfast. Hopefully the food will be plentiful and fresh!

Itll go easier.. they can add everything to one cart and do one check out vs each ADR individually
