What time did you/are you going to try to make the ADR for??

We have a 7:00 ADR for Ohana. I made it early just in case they were running behind, and so we could relax and enjoy our meal. That still gives us enough time to find a spot on the beach. The night we are going the EWP will be at 9:00 and then Holiday Wishes follow at 9:30.

Plenty. There WERE people in line ahead of us already with stickers on, but tons more showed up after as well and we still had a bit of a wait... 20-30 minutes I think.

With never doing this before knowing a little of what to expect is really nice.

MY family might make urs run for the hills! They are LOUD!!!! All joking aside, i my family we are fun

See now thats funny because we were booked Nov 10th-17th and u are right Sunday-Sunday just seems to fit

Oh boy that is all I have to tell them and its on. They can make a competition out of anything.

I am planning on doing the CP the Sunday we arrive..... I think I wanted the late show but with getting up early and traveling-Im not sure the late show will be a good idea

How were you able to find out the times...? We have a 7:55 at Ohanas, Im guessing we will be there for the piped in music and such but I am not sure...

Wow you got it bad lol ! How bout this, I made a Crystal Palace ADR at 8:20am for my first day, but I'm a little sad I'll miss the Welcome show at 9am. Everyone loves getting into the MK when it's pretty empty, but I love the excitement of the show and everyone walking in at the same time so I'm not sure if I'm not going to change it. Usually I'd do 10am after riding for an hour. At the same time I'll be awake at 4am due to jet lag. Hmm.

Does anyone bring a big binder full of menus and such with them? I used to always do that, but then never look in it much. I won't be doing that this time (just a skinny little folder, maybe an inch thick lol!).

The big binder sounds like something I would do. I downsized and got a smaller binder for this trip. My family calls my itinerary the clipboard of fun!

So I was looking at the Discounts thread and someone posted they got a FD PIN that covered 'Late Fall' 8/5 to 12/20, with some black-out dates (11-17 to 11-24).

Hopefully itll be a GP discount soon!

I understand having an attachment to a resort. That is how I am with the WL. Its just......home.

A 7:55 ADR should give you enough time to have dinner then get to the beach to watch the fireworks if they are later than normal. What day are you looking at? Is there a MVMCP/MNNSHP on that night? Here is a link about the EWP http://allears.net/tp/ewp.htm The night we will be there is a MVMCP night so the Holiday Wishes should be around 9:30. The party schedule normally follows these times:

Christmas Parade 8:15
The Magic, The Memories, & You Castle Show 9:10
Holiday Wishes 9:30
Christmas Parade (second showing) 10:30
There are other Holiday Shows throughout the evening as well.

The MNNSHP follows the same timeline (parade/fireworks)

If free dining or room discounts are announced, would they likely span November and December, or just December? We are doing a trip that will likely straddle both months!

Oh, definitely no MVMCP on our night - our stay is Oct28-Nov3rd & Nov 10-11; we are going our first night after AKL closes to get our rental car and go to dinner after. They are having the MNSSHP that night though, so we'll be seeing Hallowishes! Thank you for agreeing that the time works.. I was a little worried it might be too late but there is just my husband and I, so as long as they aren't backed up (hardy har) then we should be OK I think...

Free dining is based entirely on your check-in date. So you won't need it to span both months. Even though if offered it probably will.

Tried again this morning to make ressies @ Tusker House on 11-16 & still no luck I have never encountered this prob. when making adr's before

Do you all think a special event / person is happening that day and they haven't narrowed down what times lot they need to leave it opened for? A one day block out is weird!

Do you have a smart phone? What freedom it was last trip to be free of the binder but still have it all at my fingertips!

I notice "wishes" is posted for 8:00 during the times I am there - we were also hoping to catch this from the beach at poly. Do I need to plan for 9:00 instead - or is that just for the fireworks on the nights of MVMCP?

We will be headed to the world on Nov. 18th for the week of Thanksgiving! No hopes of free dining for me because my dates can't change so we are booked off site for the first time ever and we will be staying at Bonnet Creek. I'm gonna miss Riverside, but I'm gonna love the space!

My ADRs are coming up soon and I'm kind of nervous to be making one a day. That's the only thing that bugs me about staying off site. So far we have only chosen three, Kona Cafe, 50s Prime Time Cafe and Teppan Edo. Still looking for others.

Just called also Nothing showing for my DHS dates 11/5 11/7 11/8(dont think a fantasmic that nite though with the early closing) and nothing at all available??? Can everything really all be gone that fast??
