NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Part 2~yes there IS another!

I Just glanced over this thread, but wanted to say HI! We will be arriving Nov. 9th. Can we please be added. We haven't decided for sure if we will do the MVMCP or not. We will be staying at SSR, at least that is where the ressies are now. Well, back to catching up on this thread...

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in for the parade taping. We were there 2 years ago and it was packed. We just hopped on the train and went to Frontierland and stayed away from Main Street. We got there at rope drop. By 11 it was horrible we had hoppers so we left. I would only go if it was my only option. That is just my experience, other may have had a different experience.

It was a Saturday. We did come back that night for Wishes as it was our last day in the world. It was still really busy. Busier than a normal Saturday.

I have a question for those attending MVMCP...
I get that the vast majority of us will be purchasing our MVMCP tickets before we actually get to WDW, but do you get the paper tickets or do you get those plastic ones? We settled for the paper type tickets in 08 as well as in 09. Simply picked them up at the ticket booth on the day itself. But this year, I'm thinking we should get those plastic ones. What about the rest of you??

Ok I have a question.....I read its 2 table service credits..... any other money that has to be paid? I am just wondering because this looks so neat! I might have to schedule this!

We have not done this yet. It has always been on the "to do list". And I decided that this is the year "to do it". As far as I know you either pay out of pocket for the meal or 2 TS credits. And the tip of course.

Those of you that have done the Behind the Seeds tour..... What time of year did you do it? Would the Nov. time frame be a good time to go?

I read on the easywdw site that the taping this year is thurs,fri and probable sat(not released yet) I might just switch some days around to AVOID it like the plague. It should be okay on that Thurs. so here is my tentative new schedule

Sun-arrive
Mon-MK w/MSEP that night(was DHS)
Tues-AK/MVMCP (was MK/MVMCP)
Wed-DHS(was AK)
Thurs-MK(was waterpark/epcot)
Fri-Waterpark/Epcot-candlelight processional(was MK but changed due to parade taping)
Sat-Epcot/Boardwalk(didnt change-its fried shrimp night @ cape may )

This way might work out better BUT the only draw abck I have is the DHS day. My grandparents are leaving that day and I dont want them to drive home so late!

I'm SO excited, I'm booking flights tomorrow, we got a GREAT rate and saved it for 10 days and all the prices have gone up, so tomorrow we have to pay or we lose out. 314$ for us BOTH, round trip! I can barely find a flight for ONE person for that amount!

Wait, did I already post that the other day? Ah well...until Disney gives me a pin code or discount to rant about, flight savings will have to do!

I did not realize about the taping during the week. I'm going to have to look at things again.

The Christmas Day Parade taping is Nov 29th,30th and should be Dec 1st....MK will be BUSY!!!!! I am trying to re-arrange my schedule so we are not in MK on these days

Thanks! I might just do that this year. I'm always afraid that in my excitement, I'll forget them and leave them at home. What a drag that would be! I wonder if Disney will replace them if indeed that does happen?

I think they will, if you have your info. When I called, they gave me our ticket number, and it should be on the back of the ticket. I always take a picture of the back before we leave so I have those numbers if anything happens.
