Morning! Would someone please drop a Chef Mickey ressie for Nov 27 at 10am for 6ppl!? My trip would be complete if you would. lol I've got an 8:30 that morning, but now that we've rearranged our schedule, i'd like something later.

I have been trying for months now to get a CM ressie for 11/15 anytime after 8AM just checked again and still no luck! I guess our signature stop every trip will be broken this year, oh well. Overall I am still happy with everything we have. Still if anyone has knowledge of anyone dropping one for this date, please let me know and thanks.

Good Morning ALL!!

I am up early and dressed as I have an early appt. with a patient. Then hopefully its off to do a bit more school shopping at the outlets, and I am hoping to find some decent walking shoes for Disney. I really liked the ones posted on FB page- but Nike always run so narrow and my foot tends to be a bit wider. But we'll see. I am looking for one of those neat handbags too to carry everything. We shall see what the day brings. Oh....I booked our airfare this morning, FINALLY!!! So it is a definite GO!!! So excited. Southwest still has the best fares if anyone is interested, at least for us anyway. It will be our first time flying with them.

Good morning!! About a month ago I got a pair of Keen sandals and I love them!!! I have bad feet and I think I could wear these to Disney. They were suggested on another thread, so I checked them out at Zappos.com. I got the Whisper style. The Nikes don't fit my feet either.

This is our first time flying Southwest as well. I didn't pay extra for seats, so I hope DH and I can sit together when all is said and done. Did you secure seats together?

Too bad BOG isn't open for breakfast. That way when everyone bailed on CM to snag a BOG breakfast, you could swoop in and get what you want.

I think other than having two nice large meals just 4.5 hours apart it all looks good! You will not have much time for rides and such that day until what you can squeeze in at the party, but how well that will go is up to you - will the little ones be ok without a nap? All of those things are very fun!

Welcome to our humble thread!!

You will be able to make it, but it will be tight. Will you be able to have a little down time between ADRs for the little ones? I would try for a later ADR for BOG. I know, they're hard to come by, but doesn't hurt to check back every day to see if something comes up. If you could get even 30 - 40 minutes later, I think it would be more enjoyable from the standpoint of actually being hungry and having enough time for the kids to nap in strollers and such.

For your first time there, you need to really do a bit of homework. Get the books The Unofficial Guide to WDW and they have one that is UG with kids. Both are great. You can get them on Amazon or at your library.

Then, I would order the customizable map for MK (available on disney's website), familiarize yourself with the layout and identify and locate what attractions you hope to try. Make a list of "must do" attractions and then a list of "if we have time" attractions. If you want to have photos with the princesses, there is a fastpass now for most of them. Also, use fast pass as much as possible. You are going at one of the busiest times of the year, so be prepared.

You can enter MK at 4PM for the Christmas party, in case you don't have park tickets for that day. The party officially starts at 7PM.

Will you be going to any other parks while you're there? As questions arise, don't hesitate to come here...there are lots of wonderfully helpful people on this thread. Our motto is, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We've all been newbies at one time or another.

My son may nap, but my daughter won't. I am thinking of moving our lunch at CP to our Party day the 25th to let us enjoy more of the park on the 23rd, and to make sure we are hungry for BOG... I have been checking back to get a later time at BoG but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. I already ordered our park maps a while ago, hopefully they show up soon. I will check out the books and see if they are at our library or just order them. This trip we are just doing MK since we will only be there a few days, we want to wait until the kids are a little older and go see the other parks. Thanks for the tips!

The idea would be that at some point during the day we would return to the hotel, get changed into picture outfits and head back to the park and find some good spots for family photos. We're debating on using the pictures from CRT, another spot around MK, or near the Osborne Family Lights display at DHS. Any other good spots that you can think of that might make good Christmas card material?

The tree at AKL or WL comes to mind. At one of them, can't remember which one, there is a "royal" looking chair set up for photo ops. Aside from that, the Osborne lights sounds good. Really, there are so many options and beautiful decorations, you'll have a tough time choosing. Oh, I just remembered the topiaries at Epcot. They have Mickey and Minnie and a separate one of Pluto with presents in front of his dog house. What a great idea to do that! Good luck deciding!

Now the wheels are turning. We had planned on mainly doing breakfasts at the hotel with the exception of Ohana and Play and Dine and we don't have anything planned at GF. We have H&V scheduled for dinner as part of the F! package, so I'm wondering if maybe we should change P&D for Park Fare...

Looking on google for pictures of GF at Christmas time make it a place we definitely will want to see.

Well, I can officially relax, LOL. We hit day 77, and the trip is 100% paid off. Plane tickets bought and monies set aside for the dog's kennel while we are gone as well. Not my quickest pay off as I had our first trip in 2009 done about 4 months before, but based on car repairs that came up this summer, 77 days out is still pretty respectable, IMO

I am even thinking about a trip November next year, and started to price it out. I think part of my deciding factor will be whatever bounce back offer is offered while we are there.
