Love it!!! At our house these are not snacks they are goodies :). Even though I try to get them to eat "approved" snacks when we are on vacation anything goes.
I hope that when we all come back, we can share our pictures of our trips together on a new thread!! Wouldn't that be awesome. I just feel like over these months, we have really gotten to know each other and that would just be topping on the cake, don't you think??

Group trip report!!!! :thumbsup2 Ive got photobucket and DIS for my iphone Im planning on some live reporting.

Good Morning Everyone!

Anyone want to go do my grocery shopping for me???? PLEASE???

I don't know if it is because we are getting closer to our trip or what have ya, but yesterday Kaileigh decided to get into meeting the characters at Cedar Point. I have tried in the past to get her to meet with them and no go. Yesterday I was able to get pictures with 6 of them. I still like how Disney does it better:rotfl: DH and I also talked about food we wanted to eat at Disney as well. The food at Cedar Point smells good as you walk by, but once you get it to eat it doesn't taste as good as it smelled.:confused3 We also heard a lot of Disney music while in the kid areas.

We also found Kaileigh does well for about 6 hours with a small break for lunch at the car. I think we would have done better, but she brought tennis shoes that were slightly too small and then had to wear her flip flops after lunch and that didn't work so well with all the walking.

I think she had Disney on the brain because she kept calling Snoopy Pluto.:rotfl:

Hello,

I hope everyone has a fun labor day! It is raining here and we are just going to have a lazy day. I think the kids and I are going to work on mousekeeping envelopes. I like the idea of posting pix of our trips it will be nice to see everyone having fun on our Disney vacations.

Have a great day!

So we have received some unfortunate news...my DSD (daughter from my DH's first marriage, she lives with her mother in Kentucky) is unable to go with us in November because of her cheerleading practice schedule and competitions. :(

My DH actually did tell DSD that we were planning on going in November but if she was unable to go with us we would plan a trip for 2013 when she is out of school! :cool1:

So now that we have the "official" no go I get to start planning our 2013 trip as well, but I have a few questions that I am hoping you guys can help me with :worship:

1. We are hoping to get a bounce back offer in our room at the end of our November trip, is it for the same resort that we are currently staying in (All Star Movies) or can we change resorts?

2. When would you go - - looking at our options we could either go in July (She starts school in early August) or we are looking at going during her fall break, the first week of October.

TIA for your wonderful advice and help!

Kim

Good Morning & Happy Labor Day!! :goodvibes

I agree with everyone, there are just sooooo many great snack options that look soooo good. I can't wait to try some of them. So today, I am going to put out the clothes I think I want to take with me to Disney. Now that I am flying on SW I don't have to worry about the cost of checking a bag--that will be such a nice change for us. I bought some really cute things at Kohl's this weekend for their labor day sale- and I can't remember the last time I bought myself anyting, lol Its usually the girls or DH that I end up buying for. I think when its all said and done, we will be one sportin' looking family, lol!!

I hope that when we all come back, we can share our pictures of our trips together on a new thread!! Wouldn't that be awesome. I just feel like over these months, we have really gotten to know each other and that would just be topping on the cake, don't you think??

well hope you all have a great day!! Relax and enjoy the day with your family!! :cool1:

Good for you buying something for yourself!!!!:cool1: I am just like you always buying for someone else. I would love to have a thread to share pics of our upcoming trip! Have a great Labor Day!!

Yum!

This time around I plan to have a butterfinger cupcake. Have you had the carrot cake cookie at DHS? OMG! Oh, and another favorite I look forward to is the napoleon in France. So good!

Never tried carrot cake at all.. Is it good??

It is FABULOUS. The only way I know how to describe it is like a big whoopie pie made of soft carrot cake with cream cheese frosting in the middle. I think it's only available at The Writer's Stop. I had it for the first time in July and can't stop thinking about it :)

The cream cheese pretzel and Grey Goose Slushie sound awesome! Don't feel bad about the Dole Whip. I haven't had one either. :) Where do you get the cream cheese pretzel at? :confused3

The tie dye cheesecake at Pop Century's food court was pretty yummy last time. Not sure if they still have it or if it is still as good though.

In all of my trips to Disney I've never been to the World Showcase, but it's on our list of places to hit this trip for sure. We've got an ADR for Chefs De France plus I'm sure the kids will want to do the Agent P World Showcase Adventure. :cool1: I'm particularly interested in what the Italy and France pavilions have to offer and if it's authentic to the regions.

So last year for our trip I put a piece of paper on the frige and just started making notes of things I wanted to pack when I thought of it. I noticed this morning that my husband has started the list. At the top of the list cooler, then beer, then dailey's freeze and serve cocktails :lmao: We have established his priorieties.

I'm not 100% positive but I'm pretty sure the bounceback offer is for any Disney resort not just the one you are at, hopefully someone else who has recieved a bounceback offer can verify this!:goodvibes

And I would vote for October instead of July, because I could never personally handle the heat or crowds that July in Orlando would bring.

Happy planning!!! I'm hoping to get a bounce back offer on this trip as well so I can start planning right away too!!:rotfl:

I vote October! Less crowded because school has started & cool Halloween decorations!!!

Don't forget School Bread in Norway & Doh' Bars at DTD on those snack lists!

And Kaki Gori in Epcot if it's hot enough! :goodvibes

Yummy!

How do you do that? I'm still an iPhone dummy... I need help!!!! :yay:

Go to www.photobucket.com and create an account. You can get the photobucket app to upload pictures from your phone to your account. From the picture inside the app you can click on the info button (an i inside a circle in the corner) and it will give you a list of links. Click on the IMG link to copy it. Open the DISBoards app and paste the link into your post. Then we'll all get to see your pictures!

If you know the code for it you can type it in and it will come up. A colon : and a parenthesis ) for example, create :). A colon : and cool1 and another colon : will create :cool1:

You won't be able to see them from the app though. You'll just see the codes typed out.
