Another day, another 2 pin codes for 10% off any resort in November. Seriously, what does it take to get a FD pin or 30% off WL, LOL
We got a pin code for stayplaydine, it saved us over $400! We usually stay at POP, but for some reason is is full for this code?? We got ASMusic.
Nov 24-30. This is a usuall time for free dining to be offered but I think the pin code saved us even more!
Sign up for anything disney you can, order the planning DVD, keep checking for prices on wdw.com. I have gotten so many codes ever since I started doing this!
If your looking for airfare, check random times through out the day if you can. I checked for ours one morning (and every day prior) it was $299, that afternoon it was $215!
This WDW trip is really comming around!!

Hello, add me to the list of those praying for FD for this Nov. (11/26-12/4.)This will be our 2nd WDW trip (first time staying onsite.) While I know I could be setting myself up for disappointment, I really have my heart set on staying at POFQ. But, without free dining that probably will not happen.
So, my question is this: Should I go ahead and reserve a POFQ room now (am I right in understanding that I can get my deposit back as long as I cancel within 45 days of trip?) Or, should I just wait and risk that there may be no more rooms available come FD announcement time. Also, I know there is a risk that POFQ rooms may not qualify when FD comes out (esp. if they are all booked.) I just keep going back and forth on waiting or reserving now. I've heard other's suggest that booking too soon may contribute to FD not being offered at a specific resort.
Any advice? Thanks!
You are able to make as many changes as you want, up to 45 days prior to your check-in date. This also includes cancelling your trip. You would get a full refund as well.
As to whether or not you should book POFQ now, or wait...I'd say book it now. It could book up once offers come out and then you'd be stuck not getting a room there. It's better to reserve your room now, while they still have the availability, and cancel it later if you have to, especially since it's the smallest resort on property (I think).
Thanks for the advice!! I think that's the way I've been leaning.![]()
Hi everyone I am deff. going to Disney World in November not sure if I should go week before Thanksgiving or week Of thanksgiving, Is Thanksgiving day really a bad day to go? Are there ever codes for thanksgiving day? I am hoping for beaste castle to be open![]()
Just paid off the $2500 for our room and tickets for this November
11/25 - 12/2 at POR....(2nd trip to the POR....Very nice place)
We are really (And I do mean.....really) looking for the FD Promo!! (cmon Disney.....do us a solid here!!!)
If we get the FD Promo my daughter will be bringing her BFF with us! Both will be 14!
We have the budget for travel (we take the train as this guy here is way afraid of flying! I know I know...its safe, its easier blah blah....)
This will be our 4th trip over the past 10yrs and I am once again, like a lil kid hopped up on way too much candy!!!![]()
When my son and I were on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride (I think thatswhat its called??) in Sept 2011 and he looked at me and said..."Dad, is this real" ?? I almost lost it....He asked me a few times on various adventure rides if what we were seeing was real....How can you compete with that???
Hope everyones wishes all come true!!
I just had to get this off my chest.....thanks for reading!
Okay, I'll bite... what exactly have you done to get these pin codes? We used to get them all the time until we booked our first trip. We haven't had one since. Fortunately, my inlaws are traveling with us, and they get them all the time (currently have 30%). We'll probably book this weekend with the 30, but hope for FD, which would save us about 1100 compared to the 30, which saves about 650.

I made the switch from AS Movies to AoA.Took the plunge!
Just wanted to let everyone know who is waiting, I called Disney today looking to see if I have a pin attached to my name (which I didnt)
But while speaking with her I told how my family really wanted to go the last week of November but without a discount didnt think we would be able to swing it. She asked what kind of discount I was hoping for I replied any discount would be great at this point, but with 5 people free dining would be great. Her reply was, you might want to put some money down to hold your spot. I said why I didnt want to just put money down without a discount, she replied its going to fill up fast when we release free dining for those dates!!
Just figured I would let everyone know.

We are passing on the Plus version. We preordered the regular PP before the price went up. I was looking for a share, but my mom doesn't have a tight budget, so she just went ahead and got the PP for us!Anybody doing the photpass+? We are planning to do many of the dining choices listed on the list. I think it maybe worth it.
I am rethinking my dining choices to include Fantasmic! Maybe doing H&V because MM and HBD just dont sound appitizing to my. Thoughts?
Got my hubby the fire for his 40th bday in August. He loves it. He is a big reader and I wasn't sure he would give up his real books, but he loves it. We usually haul my big heavy laptop to WDW to check in email for work etc. Now we will just bring his fire and if we need to do anything beyond that we can use the business center. hoping the new free wifi works well!We pre-ordered the regular Photopass before they upped the prices. I really can not see a need for the + version, but I am still looking to see what else it might cover that I have not seen already
We liked MM for the Fantasmic package last time we were there. Have never tried Brown Derby though, so it is hard to compare.
On a slightly related note, thinking about getting an Amazon Kindle Fire. Does anyone know if it will work on the resorts' Wi-Fi networks?
I am thinking April 16th they will post hours to the TA site. they posted the October ones on March 16th. I can't wait to finalize my plans!I got a couple of pin codes last summer and fall after our previous trip, but nothing since...makes meStill hoping for one
Also, for the November hours, I keep checking this website: http://media.disneywebcontent.com/S.../pdf/ParkHours/WDW_Operating_Calendar_oct.pdf but at the end of the URL where it says oct, I change it to nov just to see...so far it's been November of last year, but I'm hopeful that soon when I check it, it will be this November. I'll let you guys know if/when I see the change![]()
go ahead and book now! You can always change your reservation or apply discounts later as needed if available.Hello, add me to the list of those praying for FD for this Nov. Definitely week before. Thanksgiving week typically has NO discounts. They don't need to offer discounts for holiday weeks, it is packed already at full price. Plus the crowds can be insane. Avoid at all costs if you are able to and have flexibility. Many people don't, so they have to go that holiday week. But if you can avoid it, go the week before instead! That is what we are doing- Nov 8-17th. The phase 2 of FL is scheduled for late 2012. Hoping it will be open by then, but you never really know. They backed up the Dumbo a little bit.Hi everyone I am deff. going to Disney World in November not sure if I should go week before Thanksgiving or week Of thanksgiving, Is Thanksgiving day really a bad day to go?
