Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

Good morning!

UGH! My UTI came back BUT good news is my dr called in a script so needless to say I am feeling wonderful this morning....I think I caught it way early. I am sooo over not feeling good! Anyway, Have a wonderful friday!!!!

Oh, no! I hope you feel better QUICK! You have some traveling to do! I'm so excited for your trip! :yay:

I've always wanted to be a travel agent. It seems like such a fun job, but I think people changing their minds would get on my nerves. :lmao: I hope your interview went well. Let us know!! Sending pixie dust and prayers your way that it works out. :wizard:

TGIF (almost)! :cool1: It's been a long week, and I'm ready for the weekend!

DH gave me my Christmas present today!! :santa: My camera broke so he bought me a new camera for Christmas. DS (3 years) has his first preschool Thanksgiving program tomorrow morning, and DH knew I'd want it to take pictures! I can't wait til tomorrow!

Tomorrow after work I'm going to an art show with my best friend, and DH is going to take care of the kids for me. Saturday morning, DD has a girl scout outing for a Zumba class. I can't wait to see all the 6 and 7 year olds doing Zumba!! :rotfl:

I think this weekend I'm going to let the kids paint their mason jars that they use for saving their Disney money. I think it will be a fun project for the kids. They still don't know when we are going... just that we are saving money to go.

Hope everyone has a great Friday!! :dance3:

Thanks! The interview went well especially considering it was my first interview in a LONG time. However, they had one more person to interview on Friday and they said they would let us know before the Thanksgiving break. So fingers crossed.

Honestly, being a travel agent is not all that it's cracked up to be. It's just like any other type of customer service job in that some people can be fun to work with and some people can be downright awful. It's also all commission based so we don't get paid anything until 6 weeks after our clients travel. So if in that time they cancel we get nothing (or a $100 fee depending on the contract). I have been specializing in destination weddings and I am over the bridezillas and their family members that are angry about having to attend a DW and taking it out on me.

Nice gift! What kind of camera did you get?

Oh, good luck to you! How did your interview go?

Well, when my workday was almost over, and my weekend about to begin, all of the sudden, I started to feel like CRUD. I have a nasty cold that hit me all at once. I hope it goes away as quickly.....

Thanks! It went well/ I should hear something by Wed.

Hope you are feeling better and enjoying your weekend!

Oh no! I hope the medicine works quickly and you are feeling better soon!

Ugh, looks like we could not get the 13th-19th approved since the 19th is Monday of Thanksgiving week, so we will be doing the 7th thru the 13th or 14th depending on what hotel we pick (POFQ or WL)

I think the customer service part would drive me insane, particularly brides. That must have been a headache! :headache:

My camera is a Nikon Coolpix L120, I think. I love it. It takes pretty decent video, which was an added surprise, and I'm very pleased with the pictures.

Decisions, decisions, decisions... :confused3

I researched Disney travel insurance and Travel Guard. Turns out Disney uses Travel Guard. Buying the insurance directly from Travel Guard would come out $27 cheaper for the four of us; however, since we are not flying, I didn't include the lost baggage or delayed flight options. Their website was pretty simple and painless.

I came across this thread and thought I'd share with y'all. A mom did an "Amazing Race" style scavenger hunt around MK and Epcot. Her attention to the details is incredible. I'm considering doing a simplified one for my family.

My list of things to make for the trip is getting longer and longer, but I'm planning to do most of it while I'm home recovering from my hysterectomy. I've been trying to stock up on the supplies I'll need for everything. Not to mention, I have a ridiculously large amount of scrapbooking supplies that I never use.

Question: The scavenger hunt idea made me think of Kim Possible at Epcot. Has anyone ever done the Kim Possible thing? I'm curious as to what others think about it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

We did Kim Possible in 2010 at Epcot. DS turned 7 while we were there. It was fun. I think we paid more attention to the details surrounding us because of the Kimmunicator & mission. Maybe we did Germany??? There are missions for several of the countries.

Off to check out the scavenger hunt you mentioned :thumbsup2

Me too!!! :rolleyes1

I've spent way too much time on the computer today looking at all the stuff the DISigners made. Got lots of great ideas. Now to make a plan!!

WOW How come I manage to schedule our Nov trip during the end of F&W AND Jersey week? lol

Me too! Although I purposely planned for Jersey Week because of DD's school schedule, I am not all that happy about the last week of F&W Festival, most likely the first week of MVMCP and Osborne Lights, and Veterans Day being obseverd on Monday the 12th (making for a long weekend) adding to the crowd levels during that week:headache:

Hi all!:cool1:

I just realized that I'm only 6 days away from being exactly 1 year out (365 days)!! And to think when I first started planning this trip, I was at 500 days out! We're making progress!:rotfl: :woohoo::yay::dance3:

Hi all!

I love watching our tickers tick down! 52 weeks from today, I will be at DHS!!! Can't wait! (and YES, I'm THAT crazy!) It is ALWAYS on my mind!:rotfl::lmao::rolleyes1
