Have ya'll seen this?

Go to post 103. Maybe a start to things to come?

mommyof3....I love what you have done with the first page. I have a favor to ask though. Could you change my resort from the POFQ to WL? We just made it official and switched. :cloud9:

Coral Reef has reallyhad some very mixed reviews. LeCeiller is our favorite for Epcot. Last year we were not able to get in. When we were going this year we couldn't get in. So I am hoping when my ADR window opens on May 28th that I can get it booked. It is now 2 TS credits. But we want it anyway. :rotfl:

Have any of ya'll eaten in the Castle with Cinderella? I have had that one boked a few times and alway back out. :confused3

ok I will change it! I loved Coral Reef! And checking 103 now:)

With so many of you enjoying Coral Reef. Maybe it will go on the list of places to try. :thumbsup2

We loved Coral Reef. Would not hesitate to go there again. Waiter was a little stiff but we loved the restuarant and the food was great.

What am I missing in post 103?

Do any of you plan to go back in the same time frame in 2013? I'm Just currious. It would be fun to continue the chatting and planning. I know, I'm thinking WAY ahead. :rotfl:

I'd LOVE to go again in 2013, but we'll probably have to wait til 2014. Think that will be a couples only trip either to WDW or Aulani as it will be our 25th anniversary!!! DH says if we don't go in 2013, we can do Aulani, but I might just want to do WDW again anyway. We honeymooned there, too!

The reports are coming in from this past Jersey Week and they are scaring me. Apparently it was pretty darn crowded. I'm not sure we have any other viable options for travel dates though.

I don't think I could handle Jersey Week at all. Total craziness is what I've heard.

Hi everyone.
Nice to see so many people chatting and getting so excited! So, I asked my TA about the elusive pin codes. She checked with Disney on my behalf. No code associated with my reservation. BUT, we have a year left! Anything can happen! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm actually going to arrive in Orlando less than week after my birthday. I guess I should tell my TA to indicate that in my reservation! Maybe, just maybe, Tinkerbell will sprinkle a little pixie dust on it! In any case, we're going to be enjoying ourselves at WDW. I've been listening to Christmas music on youtube. Great selection of Disney parks Christmas music! Makes me wish I was going THIS year!

Will definitely have to check out You Tube. I would LOVE that!

You know ....... ya'll have me rethinking the DDP. On our last trip we had the regular plan. And pretty much ended up eating two TS meals a day. With one paying out of pocket for. Our day consisted of us eating a TS for lunch (with ADR's). And it never seemed to fail that once we got back to the WL we would have supper at the Wispering Canyon. Thats the one we paid out of pocket for. I'm gonna have to look into the cost. I willing to bet we do the same thing next year.

Where do ya'll like to eat in Epcot?

We LOVE Le Cellier, Tangierine Cafe and Tutto Italia. We really enjoyed Coral Reef, too. DD and I loved it. All the males just liked it. If he had the option of lobster ravioli there now, DS16 would love it, too. They don't have them anymore at Tutto, but I don't think they do at Coral Reef either. Oh, Sommerfest and Biergarten are nice, too.

Yep, we adore Le Cellier, too. At first, we planned to have lunch there this time, to keep it 1TS, but we'll have to do dinner. We just have to! We had lunch at CRT on our 2007/2008 New Year's trip. We went after DD's visit to the BBB and we LOVED it. It's gorgeous, the food was very good and the Cinderella/Princesses interaction was great. (DH and I also went there on our honeymoon long ago....)

i am so sorry as i am new to staying on-site, booking, and this whole board! how do you get a pin? I am so confused, thanks!

Welcome!

I was just in an AK thread. Have any of you ever been on this trail? How have I missed this?

Never heard of it.

What I have always done is stalk the Resort board and its offshoots. I have always been able to grab a code and have it applied to my ressie. I usually do this for family members as well. :goodvibes

I KNOW you'll let us in on anything you hear, right? please......:goodvibes

I definitely think you should try it!

Hope you all have a great evening!

Do you mean post 103 in this thread? I don't get it......? I am tired, though. Maybe I'm just missing it?:confused3

If you go back to my original post. (Not a quoted one) There is a link to another thread. And you go to post 103 of that thread. :goodvibes

Well it once was the perfect time to go. I went in 2005. Now with it coinciding with so many other things (Veterans Day and last week of Food and Wine) I agree the last weekend of our travel dates could get a bit crazy, but according to live reports, trip reports, and crowd calendars it is not as crowded as Thanksgiving weekend. I would think that national holiday would be way crazier.

We didn't think it was too bad last year at Thanksgiving. The worst it EVER was when we were there was over New Year's. We still managed to enjoy ourselves, but it was over-the-top crazy, which I am not a fan of!:scared1: Then of course, they were having record-cold temps when we were there.

We loved CRT! We had breakfast there last year, and it was dream come true for DD and me!! They gave DD a princess wand, and DS received a sword. We all enjoyed the food! :wizard: It is a must do for us!

Our Epcot plans are for Akershus for breakfast (to get the Princesses over with) and Les Chefs de France for dinner in hopes that we get to see Remy.

That's our plans also. The food at Akershus (breakfast) wasn't my favorite last year, but we loved the princesses, and they did a little dance around the restaurant with the kids.

As far as getting a pin.............you pray. HARD. :rotfl:There are all kinds of little tips that people swear by. They haven't worked for me yet though. But you can go to the Disney website and sign up and then save a few vacation quotes. Oh and do this with as many email addresses as You can. You can also order the vacation DVD.
Anyone else have anything else to suggest.

We've tried everything too, but no PIN so far. :confused3

Question: Who gets the travel insurance? I ask because my boss is in Disney right now, and her Grandmother passed away last night. I don't know any details or what they are going to do. Just wondering if anyone ever had to use the travel insurance. :confused3

I have never used the travel insurance before. I'm sorry about your bosses (sp?) grandmother. Does your boss have the insurance?

I don't see it either. Can you re-post the link?

Oh, thank goodness! I thought I must be going crazy!:rotfl2:

Happymom,
I always buy travel insurance when we travel. But have never bought the one offered at the WDW site, so I cannot comment on what their policy might cover. DD fell ill at WDW in '08 and we had to make a trip to Urgent Care (Centra-care??) and then to Florida Hospital. It was not pleasant. However, the insurance we had covered all her medical expenses. And it would have covered the cost of delayed travel if it came to that. We were just a day away from departing Orlando. So I cannot stress enough how important travel insurance is! We're don't reside in the U.S., so we have to pay for everything upfront (cash or credit card) first. The insurance agency will then reinburse us after we file a claim at home. The cost of medical care in the U.S. is VERY high compared to other developed countries. So insurance is necessary.

I'm curious... Are there people who do purchase the insurance from the WDW site? What is covered and what's not?:confused3

I saw that on a different thread last night. I haven't gotten one of those but I would be thrilled if we did. I wonder if it's worth bugging my TA to get her to check on my behalf if one is attached to my account somewhere... I hope this is released to the GP sooner than later. I'd be a little more confident come ADR time.

As far as trip insurance, I hadn't thought about it until now. My husband has a grandmother who will be 87 next year and though she's in amazing health, you just never know. I'm going to have to check it out and see if it is something we should consider. I don't want to jinx anything, but we all know that no one lives forever.

I am curious why that kind of pin is already being released. Mayb bookings are down. :confused3

Good Morning! DS woke up a half hour early this morning, yuck!

Smileybug, I figured out which thread you were talking about but I did think I was crazy for a second, lol.

We are going to purchase travel insurance for this trip because if DD makes Varsity soccer and if they make it to the second round of play offs she wants to stay home with her grandparents and will fly out to meet us a few days late. So cancellation insurance is a must. I will purchase separately through Travel Guard.
