Hi Patty! Didn't notice you were going to WDW in Nov until I saw your post! When are you going?? We are going Nov 19-27th!

I am planning a Grand Gathering for some family and friends! I am hoping for the 4/3, or at least the Free Dining. We already have room reservations at Beach Club!

I do have a Disney Visa.. and I did actually just get the past pin that was going around, but it was for I think 1/10-6/10..we are going in November..
Hoping I get lucky and get another one!!

First off WELCOME! This place is fabulous and I know you will get a lot of help here.

I will try to answer these the best I can.. there tons of people here with better knowledge than me..

Jersey week is a week in November where the Jersey schools has Thursday and Friday off for a teacher convention.. over the years many people take their kids off of school for the whole week and head on down to Disney.. thus.. jersey week.

If you get free dining.. its just like the basic dining plan.. 1 quick service meal, 1 table service meal and 1 snack, per person, per day of your stay. The character meals can be used with that, it counts as a table meal.. some table service meals are 2 table credits.. not sure if the cinderella one is.. I have 2 boys so we never do it..

There are so many different codes and deals that float around that you just need to play around with them and see which one is the best for your family.
For me, I would prefer the buy 4 get 3 free. We are staying at Poly and it would save us probably close to $900.. That would work better for us than the free dining.. I have 2 boys who eat like little birds.. and would rather be riding all the rides than sitting down and eating, so if we had the choice, I would choose 4/3.. now don't get me wrong.. I would take the free dining!!

Not sure on the specials over Thanksgiving, but here is a link that shows you the past deals that have been offered.. when they were good for and the dates they were released

And I'm not really sure about a place to eat for Thanksgiving since I haven't been there during that time, but I'm sure someone here can help you out with that!

Just confirmed we are planning a Thanksgiving 2010 trip. It would be Nov 20-28. Not sure where we're going to stay. This will be our first full week trip to WDW. We'll be traveling with another family so we're hoping for someplace with suites or adjoining rooms.

How exciting for you.
I think 1 of the values has a suite room, if $$ is a factor. SSR has suites, 1 and 2 BR's too.

oh yes.. there is so much more too it! don't get me wrong, you can go and wing it and still have a great time.. but my dh will concur that going with a great plan will make it so much more enjoyable! plus planning is half the fun!

ok.. so I was bored and had nothing better to do than to plan/research/do anything about my next trip..

I did receive the previous pin for the 30%, 35%, 40% for Jan-Jun, but of course I can't use it since we are going in November.. BUT, I did play around with the numbers to see what my rate would be if I got the same deal in November! I know this is just hypothetical but if I get the 40% off Deluxe I would save $2063.36!!! SERIOUSLY! PLEASE let me get this pin or code again!!!!

We will be going Nov 21st through the 29th. Still looking at hotel have it pinned down to Animal Kingdom or Coronado. Just deciding on how much we want to spend on room versus activities. Also hoping for a great deal. We will have to get together sometime during the trip! Who would think we would be room mates at Disneyland and going to WDW at the same time!

It just means they are subscribing to the thread (kind of like bookmarking it).

It is under Thread Tools, on the top right of first post that is displayed on the page current.

You do not have to post the word "subscribing" to subscribe to a thread.

After you subscribe, the thread will be easily available to you in the Quick Links menu.

subscribing to the thread just means that you get notified when someone else posts here.. it also helps so the thread doesn't get lost in all the other topics being discussed. You can subscribe by choosing how you want to be notified when someone posts under the additional options section when you reply to these posts.. (either once a day email, instant email, etc)
